Prize suggestions for winning PTC
QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 05:13 PM) That's kind of a custom item. I'm thinking smaller, like an autographed photo, ball, or card. Maybe a cap. Something maybe less... taxing on the wallet. Maybe I should have been clearer. Kmart sells White Sox shirts for around $20-25 (too much?) and shipping a shirt is much lighter than a ball. Actually, here is a perfect link to what I’m talking about: http://cgi.ebay.com/Chicago-White-Sox-Mark...=item35b0a3c333 A Buehrle shirt which is reasonably priced and with some nice autographs from the ’11 squad will make for a pleasant prize.

Your FIRST PLACE Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 04:03 PM) About to lay a bet down with my coworkers tonight that the sox will have a better record than the Cubs by mid-season. I can already smell that 50 bucks. Take your coworkers out for a few drinks tonight and make that $50 into $200. Easy money.

WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
First Opening Day game I couldn’t watch but according to Gameday Jackson had his slider working to his advantage and managed to allow the bullpen to only work one inning.

Prize suggestions for winning PTC
Considering the shipping and handling fees the item will more than likely have to be something small. Perhaps an autograph picture of Brent Lillibridge in his college days with the Washington Huskies? In all seriousness though, how about a nice shirt with some autographs with notable players of the Sox?

Jermaine Dye to officially retire.
I have always had a great deal of respect for Dye from the moment he signed with the Sox. He was the kind of guy that let his bat do the talking and you would never hear anyone talk negatively about him. He managed to have some of the most successful years in his career with the Sox and of course that World Series ring is proof of how a nice player is rewarded for being an all-around great person.

What was the deal with tickets today?

Your "All-Time" Favorite Guitar Player
Stevie Ray Vaughan. One listen to “Rude Mood” and you ask how is it that just one guitar can be doing that? A few more listens and you don’t ask how you just glare and realize that’s it’s all coming from talent and feeling.
