Went to campus and got me Open Veins of Latin America. It’s an analysis of the underdevelopment and exploitation that Latin America has been under since its discovery and the unequal capitalist societies which exist to this day. I think first-hand experience is the best resource available when looking for answers to such realities and the author to this book provides just that.

Best response I’ve seen so far is from Ace, and that is if you catch the dog, carry it, point its nose at the scene of the crime and give it a knock on the head while saying “Bad or no good”. It may seem cruel, but it should work. And one more thing, don’t scream at them because that will just confuse the puppy. Try to use the same type of tone you would use when praising a dog, but with a more harsh tone and of course the thud over the head will further illustrate your disappointment. I’m giving my two cents here as I currently am trying to get my 10 week old mini-poodle to get used to the fact that it can’t be outside every hour. I also have two other poodles (mom & dad) which I’ve had since they were puppies and are well trained.

Perhaps I’ve been living in a swamp with no cable reception, but this the first time I’ve heard of this Amanda Bynes. Then again, it took me till the Hannah Montana movie to realize Miley Cyrus was two personas.

Find that motivational spark I had back in high school where I was hitting the gym at least four times a week. It seems that in college the main reason to getting exercise is to release stress and although it does accomplish that, I want more. I want to see results and build my confidence and of course live happier and healthier. Hitting the good old gym should do just that.

Finally got to see Avatar and not because I was waiting till I heard just about every mixed review I can get plastered with, but because I wanted to clear my mind of all the hype and money that has been advertised to develop and promote this movie. I walked in to the movies with no real enthusiasm or expectations that I planned (without making any real plans) to see it on such a mellow and frigid afternoon. Anyways, because my thoughts and feelings are fresh I think its best that I say I was impressed, less than impressed and then again I somewhat rejuvenated. So much like the reviews I had been lobbed with, my very own reaction to the sequence of the film proves just how I perceive the highest making, and what seems to be the longest movie, to be produced and released. And just a side note, I'm still up for grabs on whether or not I should take a trip to see it at the IMAX before making an official review on the film. Of course, my initial judgment of the story itself will prevail if I do see it in 3D.

I must say that I was pleasantly caught off guard with some of these gifts since they were wrapped to look like something else. Crate 120W Amp (w/ audio inputs) A gold top Gibson Les Paul A pair of winter boots New backpack for next semester DVD’s (Red Heat, Terminator Salvation and Inglorious Bastards) Vary nice.

I can somewhat relate to this since I have a 2 month old puppy myself. I made sure that if I have the collar on the puppy (when unsupervised) that I would always leave the leash on and have that leash locked in the middle of an open area in my backyard. There is no risk there and it gives the puppy a sense of where it’s “spot” is when heading outside. Of course, puppies need to see things coming as a repetitive set of duties practiced on a daily basis since they are still strangers to this fascinating world, in their eyes at least. Be sure to check your puppy’s collar weekly and increase the size as it grows. And believe me, these little fellows grow in a blink of an eye.

QUOTE (3E8 @ Nov 17, 2009 -> 08:28 PM) Did anyone get the 'Very Sunny Xmas' DVD? Get it if you are a true fan of the show, but if you are just getting into the show then perhaps waiting to see if they show it on Cable would be your best bet (though doubtful b/c some scenes and language would be an issue).

I was a freak'n 6th grader and a scared one at that when my social studies teacher warned us of the footage he would present before the classroom. I'm now a sophomore in college and more informed on the happenings of the modern world we live in.

Craigslist That website has been there for my first actual car, my current job, electronics (subs & amps), and a signature away from getting the perfect apartment for a college student like myself.

Mid 60's to early 70's ( Beatles, Cream, The Who, Hendrix, Stones, Creedence, Zeppelin . . .) but when it comes to picking up the guitar and jamming the evening away I would definitely have to go with Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Bo Diddley and such others.

The orange/brown stains on laundry, sinks, tubs, and toilets are from the iron in the water. It does leave a bad mark on such latter things, but the taste and smell is also an issue especially if you are used to drinking city water. In the short run it may do, but in the long-run I would suggest trying to have city water installed. I know it's easy to say, but the advantage is always towards the most valuable.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Dec 11, 2008 -> 11:10 AM) A few people over at Metal Sludge got all hurt when they redesigned the site and everyone's post counts disappeared. Such a stupid thing to get worked up about. LOL If I'm not mistaking (ST) went through a similar situation *cough* Gaged*cough* and there was an overwhelming response to it.
