The average Sox fan has lost faith in the ability of this organization - from ownership on down - to put a consistently winning product on the field. 1 playoff win in 6, maybe 7 years now shows they are right.

A middle-of-the-pack team is appropriate send off for KW.

The expendable income difference between those within walking distance of Wrigley and those within walking distance of Sox park is enormous. Not too mention the difference in sheer numbers.

Currently the 8th best record in the American League. Typical KW middle-of-the-pack team.
