Bregman to Red Sox. 3 years/120 million
Total gap is less than that if there's no deferrals in either case.

That would be awesome. He's my 3rd pick though. Ace Bailey might be my #1. Still any of the big 3 would be incredible and after last night's performance, maybe they can do it.

Ky Bush Having TJS
40 days service time gets you the limited MLB pension. Longer term injury with TJS and there's a non-zero chance he never see a MLB roster again. Think he would be right at 40 days with the DL time. My guess is that's why they did it. Or there's something else in the CBA that allows him to properly/pay for rehab on 25 man/MLB IL vs MiLB/40man.

Ky Bush Having TJS
They seemed to know by end of last year. To quote someone pretty bizarre move

Ky Bush Having TJS
For sure. But it seems like there is a disconnect during the offseason. I cannot be convinced the most optimal time for surgery just coincidentally happens to be the first day of Spring Training for multiple pitchers now.

Ky Bush Having TJS
lol i wasn't doubting he said that

Ky Bush Having TJS
I have a hard time believing that when they literally recalled him in Septmber to IL him for rehab purposes.

Ky Bush Having TJS
Well if only it was a couple months then. Except it's been 5 months. I'm sure Ky isn't happy to lose an entire other year to his development either.

Ky Bush Having TJS
Why the f*** do they always wait until Spring training to do this? He was injured in September? Why must they constantly turn 1 lost season into 2.

Sox offering all Mar/Apr/May games for $125
They don't check for that, especially early on.

Sox Claim Brandon Eisert, Designate Steven Wilson, Wilson clears waivers
Surely we have a lot lot worse on the 40 man than Wilson. Why?

2024-2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball
Yeah I thought he left because of his wife but yeah I wouldnt hire one of those old guard coaches in that case IU should have high program expectations. The delusion comes from the candidates though. Brad Stevens, still, is not walking through that door.

2024-2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball
The coaching candidate pool seems pretty shallow this year. Maybe they can get Jay Wright out retirement but they certainly missed the both with others. Regardless, IU coaching searches are peak delusional entertainment.

Per Fegan, Luis Robert has been working with an outside hitting instructor since the 2018 off-season
Don't think that's unusual

Alonso back to Mets. 2 years/54 million
He hired Boras after turning down that deal fwiw. I think even Boras would have had him accept that.

Kind of thought that at first but then remembered Williams is younger than Knecht. It is funny though since the pick and Knecht are the two assets Lakers said they wouldn't give up for Luka. They turn around and get Williams for them. Talk about the all-time fleece

Fangraphs has Sox at 0.1% to make playoffs
Any books giving 1000 to 1 on Sox playoff payoff? Down to throw some money away.

Same. But I also just miss baseball in general.- Official NBA 25-26 Thread
I had very low expectations and that is somehow still lower than them.- Official NBA 25-26 Thread
This should open that up. Lakers have no center. Send the Vuc. Mavs should be favored for Lavine now too.- Official NBA 25-26 Thread
What an absolutely horrible deal for the Mavs. Why? - I Miss Baseball
