  1. I bought the walmart 50 inch tv. Haven't received it yet. Obviously it'll be off brand, but I'll certainly take it at that price.
  2. Vince putting Punk in his place and doing it with class. Punk just looks even more bitter than he ever was.
  3. This podcast is awesome. Austin asking legit questions. Vince giving real non kayfabe answers. He's burying his entire roster haha.
  4. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Dec 1, 2014 -> 09:14 AM) It was "bowl or bust," so its the right move to keep him for at least one more year, made more so because Mike Thomas hiring in a market that has vacancies at Neb and MI would be an utter disaster. This team wasn't any better than last year so I don't want to see him back. He is still a dead man walking and that is the worst thing our program can have, as we know. This is actually the best coaching opening environment we could have possibly asked for. Illinois would have been the best available second tier job as it stands. I don't even see anything close to it actually. Compare that to 2012 where we were competing against Arkansas, Arizona, Ole Miss, UNC, Pittsburgh, Arizona State, Rutgers, Texas AM, UCLA and Washington State. Not including top programs like Ohio State and Penn State. This year it looks like, um, Kansas? Iowa State? More pieces will move down the line but still, way better than the last time.
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 30, 2014 -> 01:57 PM) LOL, as he should for at least one more year. He won't be able to back his way into 6 wins in 2015 though. NU comes to Champaign, but their next four "easiest" conference games are all on the road, as is the one BCS non-conference opponent. There will need to be improvement to go bowling next year. It would take some balls but the best thing for this program would still be to fire Beckman and move on. Everyone knows he's still a dead man walking. Right now we're just delaying the inevitable. I made this same post last season but it still applies.
  6. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 30, 2014 -> 11:46 AM) @sryantribune: A statement from Mike Thomas expected today on status of coach Beckman. Signs indicate he's staying. My condolences, Illini fans #WINT I'm going to cry.
  7. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Nov 30, 2014 -> 10:02 AM) Bo Pelini out at Nebraska. Wow. Okay. Now I wish IIllinois lost yesterday
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 29, 2014 -> 01:00 PM) LOL. Sorry guys, if Tim Anderson's best friends know this news, it would be broke by now. Big media sources know this before the minor league players do. Or at least know the deal is finalized if not the players. I'm sure this guy is bs but social media usually finds out before big media, not the other way around.
  9. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 29, 2014 -> 12:05 PM) What would be his incentive to lie? He doesn't care. Most of those injuries were reported when they were happening. I remember after the Rumble, a guy I know told me heard from someone at the building that Punk was suppose to be in the final 3 but they changed it midway to Kane coming out to pull him out. I thought it was BS but Punk seems to confirm that. Yikes His incentive to lie is that he's bitter at his booking and wants WWE to look bad. I think the latter just proves it.
  10. QUOTE (ptatc @ Nov 29, 2014 -> 11:35 AM) No I don't. Butiadmit I'm not ashighon prospects as many others are as I think theybustas mu has they become stars. Again this is only if the sox get an extension. I would not do it for the rental. Sale, Q, JS. Is a top of the line rotation wat
  11. I mean if we got shark and upton I'll call us the favorites in the AL.
  12. I literally don't believe a thing Punk said. Not even about being injured.
  13. Maverick Morgan is a disaster. Backup center is obviously the weak point on this team. I've actually liked what I've seen of Colbert and he's gotten most of the minutes so far this year. No idea why Groce went with Morgan tonight but it was terrible. You think Colbert would at least have been competent with his athleticism.
  14. The A's will receive third baseman Brett Lawrie, right-hander Kendall Graveman, left-hander Sean Nolin and minor league shortstop Franklin Barreto. I would have given up the farm for Donaldson.
  15. That's hilarious Danks still has an option left. I know it's one a year but yeah agreed with DA, I can't believe it. I want Danks on the team if these are the options for the 4th OFer spot. He can be elite in CFer. He can't provide a bat but none of these guys can.
  16. QUOTE (raBBit @ Nov 27, 2014 -> 02:56 PM) For people who'd prefer family and relaxing on Thanksgiving rather than standing in line with a bunch of loons, is there any online deals today? It seems I am going to have be buying gifts for my old lady this year... Slickdeals.net is your best resource
  17. 50 inch tv for 200 at Walmart and best buy. Going for that today
  18. QUOTE (TheFutureIsNear @ Nov 25, 2014 -> 08:14 AM) How'd Hanley and Anibal Sanzhez for Beckett work out for the Red Sox? But this isn't even worth arguing over....Sale isn't getting traded anytime soon. Just a fun thing to think about, I'm a junkie for trade ideas lol The Red Sox acquired the best player on a World Series winning team in that trade. I feel like I'm missing your point here, since Sale would be Josh Beckett in this case.
  19. Seems to be the next man out of Boston. You'd have to trade for him, then sign him. He's Cuban, so there's that.
  20. That was one of the best main events ever. Seth vs Dolph was absolutely incredible and the reaction to Sting was amazing.
