  1. Probballdraft confirms it.
  2. Sheridan says it's done. Lebron to Cavs.
  3. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 06:19 PM) Phegley can't even catch the ball. The Sox need to respect the game and their fans more than running guys like Flowers and Phegley out there for two years in a row. Lol
  4. Sale should no hit these guys with the way they've phoned it in.
  5. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 06:02 PM) We have a winner. I been saying all along, I never believed for one second that Anthony was going to leave NY. It ALWAYS was about the money. Are we still taking the NY Daily News report as fact?
  6. Mavs overpay but about they do something for Dirks twilight years. They've been on every free agents list the last year's and manage to finish 5th place every time
  7. Espn reporting Carmelo hopes to decide by end of week and is waiting for Lebron
  8. Kobe Bryant having a live press conference coming up now.
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 04:44 PM) I thought the announcement was supposed to be at 6pm ET? Chris Sheridan was the initial report that the announcement would come through his website but he gave no time. Probballdraft did say 6 est, but that doesn't make sense that's when his dinner starts. Someone else said 7. I don't know it's madness.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 04:32 PM) So - www.lebronjames.com in 28 minutes, or was that fake? That's when the meeting starts. Web site I thought was supposed to update at 7, not sure what time zone.
  11. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 04:17 PM) Timberwolves with Joe Smith right? Ah yes forgot about that
  12. Other than the Nets and Andrei Kirlenko, I wonder if a team has ever tried paying a player by laundering them money.
  13. QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 04:07 PM) I would be absolutely shocked if Durant doesn't re-up with OKC Agreed
  14. She's an ESPNLA reporter fyi. I'm guessing she asked about knicks vs Lakers and and agent reposted with that quote. Don't think there's anything to it.
  15. QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 03:25 PM) A potential argument against bringing AJ back on a deal that looked and felt like it was only good for 2014, is that it might take away a little bit from the farewell spotlight for Paulie, which will pick up more and more as we get closer to the end of the season. Have them go out together and leading the parade into the 10th anniversary next year. See no harm in that.
  16. $$$$$? Guess it doesn't really matter at this point
  17. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 02:57 PM) 1. Denial 2. Anger 3. Bargaining 4. Depression 5. Acceptance On another forum I'm on if you post a link from the NY Daily News you get banned since it's a tabloid so I guess I'm conditioned to it. But I'll believe it from anywhere else.
  18. I would trust Broussard over the NY Daily News.
  19. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 02:11 PM) Look at this way--if he never played for the Sox before, would you consider him as a guy that would fit into the plan Hahn and the Sox have now? They want to acquire players that fit into the long term. Yes because he's better than Tyler Flowers and him being here now he'd be more likely to be here as a stop gap than Flowers next season. And oh yeah it does matter that he's played here before. It grabs some much much much needed local attention. We are about as irrelevant as it gets right now.
  20. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 02:02 PM) https://twitter.com/MIAMI_BOY305 Moving trucks at LeBron's Miami home. Zomg
  21. A veteran catcher with plenty of experience with us and has shown a nice ability to grow young pitching staffs while still being able to hit somewhat comparatively to the rest of the league replacing a guy who is just historically bad right at this point. There's no reason to hate it, but someone will.
  22. QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 01:45 PM) and retire a sox and immediately come be a team ambassador or whatever he wants to be. Just in time for the tenth anniversary
  23. At worst it would bring some MUCH NEEDED local headlines and attention on our team.
  24. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 01:32 PM) "The Cavs expressed to Paul that, after their discussions with the Timberwolves, doing a deal "would not be easy," according to one source. That source also expressed that the Cavs were reluctant to include No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins in any potential deal." http://msn.foxsports.com/ohio/story/source...erwolves-070914 ya gl with that Meh if I'm Cleveland that's exactly how you play it up until it's time for him to pack his bags. Gilbert even posted on his twitter today something like see Wiggins for the first time in a Cavs uni
