  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 01:33 AM) Were there actual reports that Avi Garcia was supposed to be good defensively? Our CF of the future?
  2. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 09:06 PM) I'm honestly curious what you like about him because outside of ball handling, passing, and defending a smaller guard, there's not much else there. Can't shoot and can't create his own shot. He could occasionally get to the bucket in high school but that will be a lot tougher in B1G play. He won't play before Abrams and Snider, if he indeed goes. You pretty much nailed it. He is perfect for a backup PG. Anything more would be great.
  3. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 07:45 PM) I've seen.at'll change after you watch him play. I've seen him play plenty. Probably more than any other hs prospect I've seen.
  4. Whose that? I like Tate. Also I doubt he goes since he's uncreanable.
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 04meetingPM) Technically it'd be neutral if you don't sell out. If the park sells out that means demand outstripped supply. I'm talking about timing though. Demand is only meeting/exceeding supply on the weekend. Cubs Sox games are worth 10k extra tickets roughly over an equally timed, "lesser" game, no matter when that time is.
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 04:34 PM) They sell more than the would on aweekendekday versus another series on the weekend and what it would draw on a weekday. So the ticket +/- is neutral at best depending on where you put it. The obvious choice then is to put it on the weekend. You'll get the sellout, be the event of the city for the weekend, and create hype for your brand. This series as we speak is dead right now though.
  7. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 04:03 PM) Because it is smart business. Those Cubs games are going to sell out, or nearly sell out, no matter what day they occur on. So for the Sox, why not put that kind of series during the week? Then some other team who doesn't draw as well goes to the weekend, where they will draw better than if they were during the week. It is pretty simple - this way of handling the schedule gets more butts in the seats on a season-long basis. ...but they don't sell out when put on the week days. This series used to own the city. Scheduling and bad teams have killed it.
  8. If you need 4 theres a deal for 20 a piece through Ticketmaster.
  9. There's nothing greater than Alexeis stupid grin.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 04:01 AM) The Sox desperately need to get some more left-handed bats into the organization. It's one of the biggest reasons they shouldn't trade De Aza. yes yes yes
  11. J Danks securing his spot for next year.
  12. Do my team. Ppr WR: Roddy White Vs StL WR: Steve Johnson vs Car Flex: Frank Gore at Sea Bench Mendenhall vs. Detroit Bernard Lance Moore vs Tampa DeAngelo Williams vs Buf Chris Givens vs. Atl Jerome Simpson vs Chi No idea about WR 2 again. Leaning towards Simpson. Nervous about Gore in the flex. Also Baltimore or Pittsburgh D.
  13. Honduras has a pretty easy schedule left and no way is Mexico coming away with a point in Costa Rica. No chance for third for them imo. Panama vs Mexico in Azteca will be fun. If it's a tie, I wouldn't mind playing to a 0 0 tie with Panama for the US last match.
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 11, 2013 -> 03:25 AM) Honduras back up a goal...boom! A tie is the same thing for the USA
  15. Panama just scored a ridiculous goal. Screw that, rooting for them. USA will be in. Rather screw over Mexico. They are now in realy trouble of 5th place.
  16. End of April/start of May: 16 straight vs Red Sox/Rangers/Tigers/Rays Season may be over real quick. Cubs series during the week again. How dumb.
  17. I need 34 points from Alfred Morris and Randy Bullock tonight. Yeah....yeah.
  18. Here's the GIF by the way: Don't think that is a late hit by rule.
  19. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 09:07 PM) I hate the call too. I think it should be the 2nd step out when you throw the flag but as the league calls it, it was the right call. But it first foot wasn't even out of bounds when he began to hit him. It was the wrong call.
