  1. I wouldn't say every program does it. Far from it. And I wouldn't say those were cases of "creaning"
  2. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 01:54 PM) Starting Saturday you have Hell on Wheels, Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy all new. Yep, that is good four of weeks there of television. Glad I am not using this thread to decide if I want to watch The League or Sunny. I watch AGT with the family. It has some cool stuff on it but people voting for s***ty singers really has killed the show for the entire family. Everyone complains about kids dance troups and singers every year yet they go through time and time again. Don't get it.
  3. Sunny was as good as always. League was brutal last night.
  4. Pleasac feels the need to yell the first words of every topic.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 01:34 AM) At least it is only $20 True. I'm actually hitting it big tonight aside from them so I can't complain.
  6. Put $20 on the Sox to tie/win the first five innings. Won't trust our pen again after last night.
  7. Oh boy. We are not trading Alexei to have Leury Garcia play everday.
  8. The roast was amazing. Bill Hader had what I thought was the best roast ever. Ross amazing as usual. The only thing missing was Jesslenik.
  9. Not when I bet on the Sox like I inexplicably did tonight.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 4, 2013 -> 02:22 AM) Absolutely, but the scary thing is that the players seem to be the ones who will be moved (ie: De Aza). If we trade De Aza for nothing, like I fear, I riot.
  11. QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Sep 4, 2013 -> 03:16 AM) Robin looks PISSED. He should be fired.
  12. I decided to bet on the Sox tonight for the first time all year. Of course this happens.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 3, 2013 -> 06:45 PM) If the Sox are as far away from being contenders as Soxtalk thinks they are, there is no reason to sign another catcher. For a backup job? Of course there is. Veteran presence and another perspective for Phegley. And if we do try to compete a lefty simy makes way more sense.
  14. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 3, 2013 -> 05:28 PM) Except for the clear need for a backup catcher. We will certainly get a lefty veteran at worst. That's the most certain move of the offseason. Flowers has no place anymore, unless he wants to toil in the minors and hope for an injury. He won't be here opening day.
  15. There's 0 reason for him to be on the opening day roster next season.
  16. If I could bet, I would put everything I own on Cincinnati at that line.
  17. "The most embarrassing inning I have ever called" - Hawk
  18. You guys just missed, as Hawk said, "the most embarrassing inning of the year". Really saying something for these Sox, but it's true. 8 runs on absolutely horrible defense even for us. 9-0 Yanks in the 4th.
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 31, 2013 -> 05:26 PM) We needed Lindstrom in July? I thought the team was more than out of the race by then. In the fangraphs world he's already put up $4 million in value this year. In the B-R world he's put up more. He was talking about around the deadline when he was horrendous. Though we still had the opportunity to trade him.
