  1. From the Cubs board for your enjoyment:
  2. Where is the default pink skin?
  3. No Eric Milton? Did he use up this status last year?
  4. QUOTE(Iwritecode @ May 11, 2006 -> 06:25 PM) Ahh... It's good to see at least one of the companies can design a controller right the first time and stick with it throughout the newer versions of the system. I would hate having to get used to a new controller every time I bought the lastest system. So Nintendo is duping people into buying a newer version of the same thing they already have just because it's a little bit smaller and the screens are brighter? 1st, I don't believe you can use the Sony PlayStation 2 controllers on PS3. The new PS3 controllers will not have rumble(absolutly terrible choice, I know), and will have to be wireless. 2nd, PSP is getting a redesign as well, so both companies deserve some critisism is that area(Even though I admit I'll be picking up the DS Lite when it hits).
  5. The Nintendo conference was awesome. Super Mario Galaxy looks the best of the games so far, along with Red Steel.
  6. QUOTE(3E8 @ May 9, 2006 -> 02:20 AM) If anyone hears a firm US DS Lite release date, I'd appreciate a link. June 11th. EDIT: And for 130$
  7. Sony is having their conference now and just showed off the new controller. Haven't seen pictures yet, but it's a Nintendo Wii rip-off. LOL EDIT: They also just announced a 600$ price tag.
  8. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 9, 2006 -> 12:43 AM) Has it started yet or what? It's a commercial now. Yeah, the first hour was all pretty good street magic.
  9. Since he is going for the world record, it is REAL then?
  10. I just read that joke of a first page. Seeing how it's gotten to 11 pages now, I'm assuming it's true after all?
  11. Aaron just hit number 6 on Sunday Night Baseball.

    Press Conference Times Sony: Monday, 6 O'Clock P.M. Nintendo: Tuesday, 11 O'Clock A.M. Microsoft: Tuesday, 3 O'Clock P.M. All eyes are on Nintendo to finally make their move. It won't take much Nintendo Wii information to steal the show, but they will still drop loads of information on us anyhow. They are holding their press conference at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angelos, so they obviously have big plans. Sony will likely have a great show as well. They will hopefully show off their redesigned PS3 controller, and maybe announce a launch date for PS3. The X-Box 360 has been very dissapointing, and there isn't much on Microsoft's front to report. They likely won't have too great of a show. They'll probably show a 30 second Halo 3 video to keep their fans happy.
  13. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 2, 2006 -> 09:08 PM) What's the release date for the DS Lite? May 28th barring a delay(Which is certainly not out of the question). Yes, it's a Sunday launch. A good chance NSMB will be packaged with it.
  14. The Big Ten will only accept Missouri or Notre Dame. And since we all know it won't be Notre Dame...
  15. Baseball Digest had a similiar article for last month's issue. They picked the 3 or 4 best home-runs ever in the history of each franchises. Pod's was on the cover.
  16. The Trailer for it is pretty cool: http://revolution.nintendo.com/
  17. QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 05:33 PM) I finally saw in a magazine how the new controller is supposed to work. I only saw it used for a couple of shooting games but basically the controller will act as the gun in the game. If you twist it left or right the gun in the game with twist left or right. Seems to me they tried this one other time and it was a pretty spectacular flop. Back then it was called the Power Glove... Back then they didn't have the technology. Nor was the Power Glove a Nintendo product. And I'm not sure you are getting it right. From my understanding in FPS games, the Revmote will essentially be a Light gun, while movement will be done with the nunchuck add-on. In Red Steel, the Revmote will also act as a sword. Nothing like this has really ever been tried.
  18. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 11:21 PM) The name is absolutly horrible(although I see what they are trying to do). Nintendo seemed to do everything right so far, but they messed up here. However, the logo is badass. This was a knee-jerk reaction. I'm actually starting to love the name.

  20. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 11:52 AM) There was a site posted a while back from Bob Dylan where you could just play any old NES game on the internet (good times playing Mike Tyson Punch Out all over again). http://www.everyvideogame.com/
