QUOTE(fathom @ Nov 30, 2005 -> 04:15 AM) He's not moving anywhere. They have no other point guard. Maybe I'm missing something, but Frazier looks awful when I've watched him. I love Frazier's game. Can really work the ball around the court. The media is trying to make him shoot more. He's got one of those glorified shots. I believe that's why he looked like crap tonight. He was caught trying to find himself a shot on too many occasions. -

Would not be too worried if you are for Illinois at all. UNC is playing as well as they can. Meanwhile Illinois is playing some of the worst basketball that I have ever seen from Bruce Weber. They should get their act together and win by a decent margin. -

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 09:34 PM) Interesting... This summer you said, IU would struggle to make the tournament. Now you're saying they're the favorite against the #1 team in the country. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=831613 They have played good so far, against crappy teams mind you but they have played good. I like them because their at home and the atmosphere at the Hall is going to be crazy. Duke, on the other hand, may be the most overhyped team this century. I don't think they are deserving of a number 1 ranking at all. I pretty much fully expect IU to win. Also, the 2 points I have made have no direct correlation. Obviously a win against Duke won't hurt their resume, but its still not near enough to get in. They got a whole season to play. They've been prone over the last couple years to winning the big game even if they were just a very poor team, which they certainly have been over the last couple of seasons. They better hope thats not the case tommorow. -

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 28, 2005 -> 06:56 PM) I believe Jones is being paid something like $13 million a season. He's also coming off his best season of his career and would probably worth it.

Brother Rice starts off 0-3 Looks like our streak of 11 straight 20 win seasons will come to an end. Our 11 straight regional titles is in jeopardy as well. -
Not that this needed its own thread, but put something up there for Christ's sake! EDIT: And of course I meant without.

QUOTE(The Bones @ Nov 27, 2005 -> 07:39 AM) Monday, Nov. 28 7:30 p.m. ESPN2 Virginia Tech at Ohio State Tuesday, Nov. 29 7:00 p.m. ESPN Wisconsin at Wake Forest 7:30 p.m. ESPN2 Purdue at Florida State 8:00 p.m. ESPNU Clemson at Penn State 9:00 p.m. ESPN Illinois at North Carolina 9:30 p.m. ESPN2 Miami at Michigan Wednesday, Nov. 30 7:00 p.m. ESPN Georgia Tech at Michigan State 7:30 p.m. ESPN2 Minnesota at Maryland 8:00 p.m. ESPNU Northwestern at Virginia 9:00 p.m. ESPN Duke at Indiana 9:30 p.m. ESPN2 N.C. State at Iowa Can't wait for this. I've got a good feeling about the Big Ten's chances this year with the new expanded field. Despite my thoughts on Big Ten being by far the best conference in the nation this season, I really don't like these match-ups for them, especially with their best ammunition going up against that pathetic Georgia Tech squad. I believe it comes down to that last game, and NC State has been very impressive early. -

Florida Marlins Every White Sox fan's 2nd favorite team. (However, I'll still be willing to take Juan Pierre off you shall the fire sale continue )

KW(or someone else) needs to write a "Moneyball" type book, discussing how most of your prospects will amount to nothing and should be traded at the height of their value. Atleast that formula has seen success.

QUOTE(whitesoxmanager @ Nov 25, 2005 -> 04:27 PM) ask yourselves this question: if you just won the WS with a bunch of guys that rolled thru the division and then went 11-1 in the playoffs DO YOU NEED TO GET RID OF ANYONE THAT WAS AN INTEGRAL PART? I SAY HELL NO! I will say it again you gotta know when is the time to NOT try to make the team better and just leave things the way they are... At least wait until the all-star break! I've been a big preacher of the 2003 Angels. May be you should look them up? -
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Nov 24, 2005 -> 04:22 PM) I know what he is going to do. A Reunion show!!! ps. I had no idea that Eddy Guerrero was a part of this boy band

QUOTE(redandwhite @ Nov 25, 2005 -> 08:22 AM) http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb So Mota was added to the deal for Garcia. I like this trade a whole lot, wow. The new guy the Red Sox gave up any good? -
QUOTE(Spiff @ Nov 25, 2005 -> 04:33 PM) They make it all up on software. This remains to be seen. Costly games will now cost around 10 million dollars to make, nearly double that of what it was with XBOX/PS2/GCN. Games are only 10$ more too. I just don't think they will be able to compensate. It seems Microsoft is just trying to be the industry leader with the 360, rather than try to make money off it as it stands. And if one company could afford to do it, it is Microsoft.

Sony is going to take a 300$ hit per unit sold with the PS3, after announcing they will go ahead and luanch it at 400$. Looks like I'll be sticking with Nintendo and their 200$ unit.
