  1. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Dec 15, 2005 -> 12:00 AM) Joe Crede also had a higher OPS last year. Hank Blalock also has a higher average, higher on base percentage, double the walks, 30 more RBI, more hits, more AB's, more doubles, more home runs, more runs, and more total bases. Should I go on?
  2. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Dec 14, 2005 -> 11:55 PM) Blalock is icky. So is Joe Crede...
  3. A lot of people just think we have a perfectly average suicide here. Including me.
  4. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 14, 2005 -> 09:40 PM) He wants you to bring back the choke avatar. No need, I still have mine.
  5. QUOTE(Felix @ Dec 14, 2005 -> 07:53 PM) We overpaid... again. This seems to be a thing about this offseason. We are getting good players, but overpaying massively. Oh come on now. Too funny.
  6. Basically official now. **EdIt: Sorry, I meant Vazquez. Can someone edit? I love this deal, and yet another bold move for KW. So what does this mean for BMAC?
  7. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Dec 13, 2005 -> 09:25 PM) RECAP The Sox have supposedly been in talks with Arizona about a possible deal for Javier Vasquez. Could be for either Garland or Contreras...the consensus appears to be Garland. Ozzie golfed with Vasquez, so we know they both like golf. Some people like it. Some people don't. Should stick with Garland...since he's gonna leave at the end of the season we should do the trade...we should trade him, but not for Vasquez...yada yada yada. Rosenthal says Chris Young might be involved. hi8is doesn't like rumors. Thank you. But :puke
  8. Anyone want to update me on whats happaning so I don't have to read 22 pages? All I read was the first post...
  9. I suggest getting rid of Trade Winds all together. Heck, there was even a poll after Trade Winds part 1 saying it shouldn't be brought back. JUST MO.
  10. QUOTE(Ricky3353 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 06:20 AM) I dont know alot but i do know that Jeff Bajaneru is the most obscure athlete in the history of professional sports to have his own website. (move over Pat Mannley) No, that award goes to Robert Archibald, who got in for a total of like 10 minutes for his NBA career.
  11. This is one of the few times there isn't a clear group of death. If I had to pick one, it would be the U.S.'s group E. Group F isn't bad either. Four solid teams, but only 1 real power.
  12. OMG, this IS GREAT!!!! LOLOLOLOL! .256 AVERAGE! FAMOUS FOR A STRIKEOUT!
  13. I would not mind getting Hammond.
  14. I like the Todd Jones as a writer in TSN better than the Todd Jones baseball player.
  15. More Spec Information also being leaked out tonight: Disks can store up to 8.5 GB's(GC held 1.5) Memory in Rev totals 104 MB's Double the clock rate of the CPU and GPU of the Gamecube and you have the Rev. I have no idea what this means, but I guess the Rev is twice as powerful ad the Gamecube. Not bad at all...
  16. Big News For Rev Fans: Nintendo Revolution expected to launch anywhere from 99$ to 149$.
  17. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 04:14 PM) I hope you're right. But is there really a need to lower our expectations in order to blow us away later? I guess I just don't understand why they'd say anything at all. Then you don't understand Nintendo. They have to be top secret about everything, until they think the time is right. e3 2006 is going to be huge for them. Nintendo is already hyping it up 165 days early, when usually the major copanies will take 2 weeks or so to prepare. They should reveal everything there, including the Revolutionary Part of the console.
  18. Mind you this article is based off Gamecube like Developer kits. They'll probably soup up the graphics a little bit.
  19. Join the crusade to end the inane Jack Thompson.
  20. QUOTE(danman31 @ Dec 4, 2005 -> 02:12 AM) All the Scheyer hates have been proven wrong over time. I remember a couple years ago people were saying he wasn't that good for high school. Then he had arguably the best season of anyone last year and won the state title. Now he's going to Duke and people are saying he won't do well there. He is perfect for Duke. He's shown improvement every year. He's taking over more control of GBN this year, but he has shown he can be a great team player like his freshman year when they finished 3rd in state and he was with an all senior starting lineup other than him. I'll wait to make my overall judgments, but he has yet to play in a system in which he wasn't the focus. Every time down the court GBN will make sure the play is set-up for him. And I mean this literally. There will be 4 or 5 picks just to make sure he keeps the ball. You better bet that will not be the case at Duke. He'll have to actually learn how to create his own shot and lock down on defense.
  21. So Juan Pierre is basically gone now. Lo Duca going to be switching jerseys as well?
  22. The new question is even better: " Who would you rather have setting up Mariono Rivera?" 51% of the country said Gordon, 49% Farnsworth. Anyway the really funny part was the Illinois poll: 76% say Gordon, 24% Farnsworth.
