  1. He should breeze through.
  2. How the hell can you lose to Canada? Nonethless, the WBC needed something like this to happen.
  3. Just heard about this trade. So how'd we get Cintron and only give up a garbage arm in Baj?
  4. QUOTE(Pauly8509CWS @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 09:53 PM) Over who exactly? They 5 guys they selected are better than Vukusic. He had a better than Augustine of Illinois.
  5. How the hell does Dee Brown not get on the all-defensive team?
  6. Chicago State, possbily the worst basketball program in America, is just one game away from getting to the big dance.
  7. Awesome article. I liked his press conference the best: "How is everybody? How are you doing?" Johjima asked the assembled crowd. "Thank you for coming today. My name is Kenji Johjima, from Sasebo, Japan. I am very happy to sign with Mariners. I like Seattle city and Safeco Field. I love baseball. I want to succeed in the big leagues. Thank you."
  8. I was hoping she mean the movie.
  9. The game looks absolutly terrible.
  10. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Mar 4, 2006 -> 05:20 PM) Anybody think Soriano could be a replacement for Gooch? I know he strikes out a lot, but he has a lot of potential. He wants a 100 million dollar contract. Why not just keep Gooch?
  11. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 4, 2006 -> 04:30 PM) I didn't get an email. Not even the hackers like you.
  12. The Marlins actually traded him.
  13. No. Baseball is as kid friendly entertainment as you will find. Well, for the first time ever, good tickets are going to be hard to get for any game. Your best bet is stubhub.com or I'm sure a poster on here has some extra that he/she is willing to give up for you. The Bullpen bar would be my guess, although I'm defiantly not an expert on the topic. THE ROAST BEEF SANDWHICHES BY THE RIGHTFIELD FOUL POLE!!! You must get these. They are ridiculously good. The worst part about the months between October and April is not being able to order these. Chicago is known for it's pizza, so any thing like that will do. 1. Get Scorecards 2. Make a trip out to the outfield shower. A Comiskey Park classic. 3. The leftfield fan deck they put in last year is pretty cool. I'd check that out. 4. I strongly suggest getter lower deck seats. Much better than the upper deck, IMO. 5. Don't be afraid to quit watching the game for a few innings and take atleast 1 full circle around the park to get a full experience. It's not like other sports in which you have to stay in your seat the entire time. I've been to hundreds of Sox game, but I still make sure to do this everytime I go. Also, are you aiming at a specific date? If possible, go watch the Yankees play us. The other teams(KC, TB, DET) we have at home in August aren't particulary great. Minnesota wouldn't be a bad series to attend either.
  14. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 3, 2006 -> 09:00 PM) According to Paul Sullivan, the Cubs withheld Wood's injury information from the media for 3 days. Typical Cubs and lying about their injuries. Only 3 days?
  15. Cuba is in the middle of their season right now. They have to win this thing.

  17. Cuba will take it.
  18. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 12:24 AM) What was your name previously? I have an idea but I'm not positive. southsideguy orginally, then hall of famer.
  19. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 02:22 AM) it's like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife. LIKE RAAAAAINNNNNNNNN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
  20. QUOTE(farmteam @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 11:36 PM) Club House (I admit it, I watched it) That show was awesome. I watched it religously every week. Although it could go down as the worst big network TV show of all-time, I still loved Baby Bob. He can be seen in Quizno's commercials today.
  21. For whatever reason, I could just see Konerko's home run coming. Pod's took by by total surprise. Never in a million years could I have seen that one coming.
  22. I actually won a championship while on the Cubs in little league (a span in which I won 3 straight years in a 25 team league). I still burned the hat and jersey in bonfire immediatly after the season. A friend and I held a whole ceremony while doing so.
