New Tejada News: O's reportedly make a proposal...
I would defiantly like this deal to happen. Uribe would be replaced. Count, in a sense, has already been replaced. Off the top of my head, we don't have any top pitching prospects(BMac is certainly out of the picture here), so we don't need to replace. That leaves Sweeney. We still are overpaying though, but I still would still pull the trigger if they would not be willing to bargain down. Not sure who is in their pen, but they should throw us over a reliever.

Widger is the single greatest catcher of all time. Accept this and move on. He aint being touched.

What I noticed about Sox stuff at Disney World
I can confirm this report. I saw tons of Sox gear down there. May be we saw each other. I know I was decked out in Sox gear every day I was down there.

PS3 coming out in Spring 06
Interesting. With the sales flop of the 360, I'm surprised to see them not wait and take their time. Of course waiting might mean putting it up against Nintendo's Revolution, which Sony seems to be pretty scared of after the DS destroyed Sony's handheld market hopes. Sony just needs to learn from their mistakes from the PSP, which now seems to be near its death in terms of games. They can't afford to have insanely high development prices(although reports are saying they still do), can't launch with an inane price and they should have some AAA titles available at launch. Of course I don't even know if it will see a 2006 release date. Various Reports are saying a 2007 release date is very possible after the PS3 developmental units have been found to be severe fire hazards. And by that I mean them randomly bursting into flames.

- Hawks Game Tonight
QUOTE(AirScott @ Dec 24, 2005 -> 06:18 AM) what in the hell? I went on NHL.com to check the score, and it said 2-0 Hawks, and there were 3 min or so left. i figured it was in the bag. I don't like this team, and I haven't been able to catch a game yet. Detroit scored twice with 38 seconds to go in the game after a dominating performance by Bulin. They then scored again as time expired in overtime.- Hawks Game Tonight
Any one go to the game or watch it? 2 goals in f'in final 38 seconds. Still can't believe what I just saw. F Detroit.- Any high quality Bears boards out there?
I don't think there is such thing as a quality Bears message board. Now, if your looking for a place for Bears Blind Homerism that think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, well, I'm sure there are plenty of those.- Buehrle>Wood
- Twinkies done adding offense
Their 1-2-3 are very good. Other than that: :puke- When are the Sox going...
QUOTE(easyw @ Dec 23, 2005 -> 04:40 AM) I hope they never go. The Sox are the anti-Bush team. They beat the LA Angeles in the ALCS. The Angels are the team of Orange County, a notable hot bed of right wing extremism. Then, in the World Series, they beat the Houston Astros, the team that represents big Texas oil money and corporate crooks (like Enron). To drive home this point, one of the biggest bastards of them all was in the stands rooting the stros on - Bush Sr! The Sox represent the old school Democratic Chicago political machine! Its funny that Ozzie and the trophy visited Chavez before Bush.. that must really burn Bush up, really get under his skin. VIVA CHAVEZ! VIVA LA REVOLUITION!!! ...... No comment.- Payroll Question
91 million is what I have been hearing.- Tony Dungy's son dies in Florida
Although his myspace is no longer up, I was looking at his friends pages and he did hint at a suicide. I no longer have access to the exact phrase, but he left a comment on his friends page that said "I will no longer be talking to anyone". It was along those lines, and posted on December 21st, yesterday. I know most would of just passed in off as a meaningless, bizzarre comment, but I guess something could of been done.- Mariners sign Matt Lawton
Why sign a roid monkey?- When are the Sox going...
Wonder if they will let Count and El Duque in? Sadly, that probaly should not be in green.- Tony Dungy's son dies in Florida
QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Dec 22, 2005 -> 05:55 PM) Tony Dungy is one of the finest men in sports and you just know his family mirrors his class and dignity. Horribly sad news His son obviously had no class: "Heroes: the D.C. Snipers, cause they let ya'll crackas kno tha ya'll aren't carzy race in the world" That is off is website. Not that class makes you deserve death any more/less.- Tim Redding
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Dec 22, 2005 -> 05:08 PM) Not necessarily true. He signed a minor league contract so he'll be in AAA unless he show's us something in ST. And if he shows us something in ST, he must have improved something. See: Pablo Ozuna Kevin Walker and Tom Gordon had similiar deals though, no? I believe Walker even started in AAA, was eventually brought up and consistently s*** the bed. Ozzie even decided to use him in a close game vs. the Angels. I think we all remember that night.- Tony Dungy's son dies in Florida
According to his myspace, he was on atleast some sort of drugs, so Rock wasn't totally out of line. What that has to do with his suicide is another story. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=41899442- Brett Tomko
Jeez, why the hell would they offer that kind of money to Brett Tomko?- Tim Redding
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Dec 22, 2005 -> 03:49 PM) Low risk, high reward. Love these signings. I know everyone SHOULD love these, but this is the White Sox here. Even if he does suck beyond belief, Ozzie and KW will still have him on the roster at one point and use him in at least 1 critical situation.- Padres non-tender Miguel Olivo
If we got him, which we won't, that would mean the end of my other favorite Sox player, mr. Chris Widger.- Damon signs with the Yankees
I ever mention how much I hate Boston?- 6'8 1/2 female basketball player.
There is a WNBAer who is 7'2?- OMG
