  2. Chat Crew called this one out awhile ago.
  3. I'm confused. I'm already a subscriber. How do I go about getting this than?
  4. I'm somewhat tempted by this idiot. Of course, he won't be traded.
  5. AJ Price is done for the season. Suspended for being a moron.
  6. QUOTE(bighurt2719 @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 05:43 PM) are you inferring that the bosox were better than anaheim this year? Inferring the 2005 Red Sox were ten times better than the 2003 Angels.
  7. QUOTE(bighurt2719 @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 05:37 PM) i know what you mean, but look at the angels. i think that if we hadnt won it, anaheim would have. they were the best team we played in the playoffs (and the only one to win a single game against us). they have made the playoffs for years now and have made LA an angel town, not a dodger town like it used to be. they have a great club still, just like they did in '03. maybe it's just me, but i see years and years of good baseball coming from the southside if we can hold on to all these players. You're exactly right. However, they made their facelift right after the 2003 season and are now one of the top 3 or 4 franchises in baseball. Their 2003 season just delayed their dominance by a year. Don't get me wrong here though. We shouldn't force anything, especially after looking over this years FA class.
  8. QUOTE(Wedge @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 05:35 PM) See the 2005 Red Sox who made changes. Exactly. The Red Sox made the changes, contended for their division until the final weekend, until evenutally bowing to the Yankees and taking the Wild Card. Of course, it wasn't meant to be in the playoffs when they ran into a team destined to win it all. Still beat the pants off of 8 games below .500 and finishing 19 games back.
  9. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 05:17 PM) I don't see why everyone thinks he's a bad player, quite frankly he is a stud IMO, he just doesn't fit with this team. Someone please explain to me how Damon isn't a good player. He isn't a good player because he's 31 and getting a 5 year deal. :puke
  10. That rides about 2 or 3 years old now. Let me be the first to say, that video does no justice to the real thing. Seeing it live is unlike any other thing I've seen. It was just so goddam taller than anything in the area. I literally lost my breath watching this thing. Of course, I was too scared to go on it.
  11. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 04:40 PM) They released MLB 2006 for Xbox 360 early this year, eh? It's that time of year again.
  12. LMAO! All I needed to read was that first column from November.
  13. Nice. Awesome to see that the crowd was 20 people deep all the way down the street.
  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Oct 28, 2005 -> 11:45 PM) Ichiro's season in '01 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Iguchi's season in '05 Not the point. Ichiro was still eligible, no?
  15. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/awards/y...?award=nominees Garland and Buehrle are two of the 3 finalists for the AL's best pitcher. the 3rd being Colon. No Gooch for the Rookie award.
  16. Keep Willie. And IMO, DO NOT PULL A 2003 ANGELS AND SAY KEEPING THE EXACT SAME ROSTER IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO! The Angels delayed their dynasty by 1 year because of this. Sign that big FA NOW! But don't force it, make a trade if need be. Now where to upgrade though? Third Base or maybe Centerfield for starters, only of course if it were to be a big enough upgrade.
  17. Don't they give out the rings on Opening Day? And when I say the rings, I don't mean the ones that would cost 10 thou each.
  18. Yes, I will watch. And Yes, I will then question my sexual preference. Can anyone confirm this?
