  1. Awesome dude. Some nice shading there. And yes, the faces would not come out well at all doing this sort of art. There would be too many features and it would lose the feel of simplicity to it.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 09:45 PM) Damn, I'm obsessed with this team. I was thinking this was going to have something to do with Podsednik. 2nds this..... Err 4ths this.
  3. At first glance, I thought this was a Nuke Cleveland thread.
  4. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 06:43 PM) Good lord, do you have any idea how much that guy's going to sign for next year? He'll take the home-town discount. I hope.
  5. Arizona is looking for some arms to win their division, I'm sure they'd be willing to give anyone a look right now. I bet one of Borowski, Quantrill or Stanton will end up there, where they will be a solid option.
  6. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 04:15 PM) What makes you think Stanton would want to come here? remember when Marte is healthy again he is the 3rd lefty out of the pen, and won't have much of a role as a lefty specialist for the Sox. Not to mention we will be more than likely making a trade for a bullpen arm this month, and Wahla, he's out of a job again.
  7. QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 04:12 PM) Would love to see Mercker and Randa on the Sox. [MVP baseball] Crede and ? for Randa and Mercker[/MVP baseball]
  8. There goes my plan for trading Marte.
  9. I'll take Ross Gload, thank you very much. Use our money elsewhere.
  10. All Star game in Chicago(By far the greatest sporting event there is, nothing will change my view other than a Sox World Series.) U.S. Open watching Tom Watson and his dieing caddy into a emotional ride to the top of the leaderboard. Jose Valentin hits for the Cycle! Various NCAA Tournament games. Various NBA championship games
  11. I have lost interest in the NFL, not yet in the NBA although interest in draining. Then Again, the NFL has always sucked and I have never had any interest in it.
  12. Some Gems from that thread: BlackSox8: Yoda: KnuckleSox1: QWERTY: BULOKIS: TexSox: Kevhead: Buehrle>Wood: Mongo: Athomeboy, thomsonmi, bulokis, kevhead and a select of others were the few to stay positive. There were some other QWERTY gems, but I don't want to embaress him.
  13. 52 pages of hell. All started by me, mind you. This has to take the cake with the most ridiculous and unessesary bashing combined into 1 thread. What a day. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=27189
  14. I'd take a pass on this for both teams.
  15. QUOTE(YahtzeeSox @ Jun 27, 2005 -> 07:37 PM) No. The Sox have to win a World Series before the Cubs. That's just all there is to it. So I guess my opinion differs from yours'. I do not want to lose to the Cubs in the series. 2nds this.
  16. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jun 27, 2005 -> 01:42 AM) That sucks but I don't understand why the rest of the team would be so angry at him. Confused, yeah, but I don't see why they'd wanna kick his ass. He was just a normal oversensitive HSer probaly overanalyzing the situation.
  17. I would if it was a bit shortened application. Whats your name on IGN, anyway?
  18. I'd go bronze. Just MO. Another nice job DePloderer.
  19. LOL, I bet 99% of Americans don't know how to play backgammon(which would include me). Sorry chap, but thats a English game through and through.
  20. SS is not a position of need. We have Uribe there, no room to complain about him. He's better than Morse will be anyday of the week.
  21. All-City manager Who's the manager of your All-City team? 100.0% Ozzie Guillen, White Sox (109307 responses) 0.0% Dusty Baker, Cubs (39 responses)
  22. I hope he breaks it. It would be awesome to see, and he would be the unquestioned best player ever to play the game, a guy we all grew up watching.
