Also, we have all been hearing Casanova was going to get called up for awhile now. No real surprise. EDIT: Ignore the the first part. There was talk of this before, but now I just reread the original article, so it aint going to happen.

I'm drawing a blank here, who would take his spot on the playoff roster? Since he is now on the 25 man and there is no eligible players on the DL, doesn't that mean he has to be on the playoff roster? Regardless, I'm not overly excited about this move.

Is the only way to be playoff eligible is to be on the 25 man/DL on August 31st?
