I think he’s having way more trouble getting to the offspeed pitch on the outer corner from RHP. But I agree, Vaughn isn’t an overall problem right now. Sox just have to try and start clobbering teams again and stop with this speed and defense bullshit

Yep and for as good as Vaughn is against LHP, he’s not a power threat yet either vs RHP

It’s easy to pitch to Yermin right now if you’re a RHP. Go slow and away on first two pitches. From there, you know he’s not going to be swinging with the big leg kick so any damage is minimal.

How would he not even know what body part hurts though? Just seems odd to me. Hopefully he just tweaked his knee and no ligament damage.

No update on Kopech from Tony. Don’t think that’s good at all.

Best way to put it is if they get Eloy and Robert back, they can be WS contenders. This version without them is going to have to fight hard to win this division.

It’s missing power, plain and simple. Outside of the bad fielding yesterday, it’s really been the main way they’ve scored of late. Sadly like half the lineup every day has no power. Yoan’s been great but anytime he wants to hit a homer, it would help, especially against RHP.
