Stoney went from saying everyone will love the pick to saying people won’t be happy....yikes

On the WS Talk Podcast, Geoff Blum said Hinch and Springer are extremely close and thinks Hinch would try to get him to play in Chicago

I completely forgot this, but don’t forget Stoney has been preaching about how baseball teams should have “two managers”. I wonder if they’re implementing this by having TLR teamed up with an analytics guy. Stoney says we will all be happy, and I don’t think he would say that if it’s just Tony and his old crew.

A lot of people loved spending time with their family until quarantine, and now they want out of the house

So Stoney isn’t saying no to a TLR and younger coach tandem. Instead of AJP, I wonder if Konerko is interested

But the Sox asked for permission to interview. Sure, it could be JR doing him a favor but who knows.

At least Hahn supporters will still find a way to never blame him for anything.

Richard Justice

Hahn might have been full of shit to throw people off the Tony scent

Didn’t he say it was from a Sox source

They fed him they wanted to interview him, and no one else had that info

Sweet, then that means they sign Bauer and Springer

If he’s their first choice and he says he wants it, then I doubt they interview others

Confirming what?

Also said the job is TLR if he wants it, he believes

Yuck sounds awful

Never a good look to float out a name that’s supposedly your first choice and have them turn you down

Cubs

Because they’re actually interviewing him

Nah he’s used to players having bulging muscles and looking the other way

Also there is literally zero chance the Sox don’t know if Tony is interested in the job right now. I’m sure if they’re really interested, they’ve been in contact for a while.
