No, but he’s been incredibly slow to get out there when his guys are having clear mechanical issues. Combined with rumblings about his effort (or lack thereof) off the field, and yes...I’m comfortable saying he’s become very lazy and complacent.

Yep his command is atrocious and he needs to find something that will get lefties out. Also would be nice if the overrated, lazy pitching coach would go out to the mound and help him once in a while.

Ugh, he’s just batting practice for lefties. Very disappointing performance at the big league level for Cease.

From the stretch, Cease seems to be too open and it’s causing him to pull everything. Meanwhile, Cooper sits on his ass.

He just misses up on his fastball far too often. It’s not even close enough to get the hitter to offer at it. The Santana slider was perfect.

Passan was just on ESPN1000. He said something is seriously wrong if the Sox don’t go after Cole. He did mention the Yanks, Astros and Angels as teams that will be in on him. He thought he would want to go higher than 8/240.

No doubt it’s been a positive year in the majors in terms of development on the field. Just have to keep everyone healthy rest of the way and make some strong moves this offseason.
