It’s less about home run power for me and more about being able to keep outfield honest and hit it over their heads. If he can do that, he will have a good career.
Yeah agree with moan here, they should aim higher. One of the few positions they can bring in an impact bat. I don’t think Walker or Rutherford have enough thump to play RF.
Can’t wait for a few years from now where only Madrigal doesn’t have HR power in the lineup. Having a lineup with Jay, Yolmer and Tilson is comical in this home run era.
Sure they’re more talented, but they definitely have their warts also. It’s funny how similar they are in that they should have great success if they can throw their fastball for strikes.
Yep we had a discussion in that very thread about how Giolito was struggling with his fastball command but was using his changeup more effectively than he did in recent starts.
