Congrats to Madrigal. I wonder who chaperoned him on the flight to KC?
-
I just adore their pitch selection. They don’t mess around with anything but the corners.
-
Do our righties really not think they’re going to see a breaking pitch off the plate with 2 strikes?
-
Looks like he’s guessing
-
Taking strikes, swinging at balls...not gonna work. Robert just swinging at air tonight.
-
Great job by Giolito!
-
You had an awesome post about this earlier today. I agree, he has no sense of trying to actually compete. It’s quite disturbing.
-
Giolito making some bad pitches this inning. He desperately needs to find one more pitch to keep hitters off that change up.
-
Ha, yeah right
-
And know how to pitch against our hitters

60 games

That was depressing. This 3-4-5 is not very fun to watch.
-
Not even close on a lot of these. Get Grandal out of the 4th spot if he’s in one of his slumps.
-
Abreu missed those sliders by a foot. These righties look clueless
-
It was a hanger higher than high. I’m fine with him swinging first pitch, just need a better swing than that.
-
That was not a good at bat for Yoan
-
Leury horrible base running, lucky as hell
-
Guys getting just destroyed by that slider off the corner
-
Nice frame by Giolito on 3-2
-
Really quality at bat for Grandal, my god. Stop pulling everything
-
Iassogna has always been one of the worst umps
-
I think that’s very possible, especially given the weird summer camp routines every pitcher had to deal with.
-
Too much pitching depth!

Absolutely no urgency from Tank Commander Renteria https://mobile.twitter.com/scottmerkin/status/1288314115023306753

Don’t worry, Ricky thinks Delmonico is having a lot of quality at bats!
