Just seeing running blunders too often. This team is great at stealing but bad at running the bases on non-steals.

Lots of mention of fastball/curveball usage on twitter. Sounds like command got better as game went on, but it was awful early.

More just awful base running. No excuse for some of these blunders.

Madrigal did his loft practice swing you focused so much on and then chopped a grounder to SS. I have a feeling it's just his typical practice swing.

Hahn spent all offseason saving the Sox would be way more aggressive in the offseason after 2018. Well after 60 games of awful play, he seemed way less confident on Mully and Hanley today that the Sox would be aggressive after the season.

Also kudos to Chuck, as he's been the MVP of the rebuild so far. He's had 3 straight days of podcasts. His podcast last week with Hostetler was simply awesome. No doubt in my mind Chuck has been pushing to get Sox minor league games on the channel formerly known as Comcast Sports.

Also Hostetler made a point that I did as soon as Madrigal got hurt. The wrist injury zapped his power this year. I'm optimistic he showed more power this year before the injury.

Hostetler admitted there were people in the room that might have had other available players higher than Madrigal, but they were able to finally come to a consensus.
