He just needs to stop guessing. Why look for offspeed pitch when you can't hit it and take fastballs down the plate? This is where having a strong coaching staff would also help.

Yeah yolmer doesn't have the bat to be a full time 3rd baseman. Definitely better off as a utility player and opens up 3rd for a power bat the next two offseasons. As for Yoan, not a lot to say. He needs to stop reading the press clippings and work on getting better.

Problem isn't the strikeout totals right now. It's the lack of extra base hits and walks.

Yep, if Yoan doesn't turn into an above average player, then Hahn and the development team should be heavily criticized
