I hate to tell Kenny this, but Harper told everyone he met with how impressed he was with them.

Dumb and dumber billboard with Gar/Pax and KW/Hahn

Nah, they'll break the bank on Sale after he throws like 89 mph this year.

Sources: expect big news at soxfest as extra security has been hired

And Knicks are set up to get Kyrie and Durant and possibly Zion.

I'll be honest, the comments by Kenny made me more mad than Harper signing elsewhere. The Harper signing was expected...hearing such garbage from Kenny was more of a kick to the balls.

This is all about the owner, sadly. However, since JR is going nowhere, need to find some guys who can deliver talent without paying market price apparently (but have no fear, every free agent they sign will be more than the market dictates).

The only thing missing from that Kenny article was blaming the lack of spending on attendance.

Just a friendly reminder that it's never a good idea to let the same group of individuals lead a rebuild after they couldn't build a winning team. Seems like only the Sox and Bulls have allowed that.

Yep, very true. Time for the terrible trio to go.

Guys, we’re not cheap! Do you think cheap teams would give McCann a major league deal? Do you think cheap teams would take on all of Yonder’s salary? No sir!

No they don’t, it’s just another justification not to spend more than necessary

Not only did they troll us, but they trolled themselves. Their failed in their execution, so fire them immediately.

Good god they get dumber and dumber with what they say as it goes along. It’s like they’re trying to get every last fan to stop caring.

What pisses me off is if they knew they wouldn’t pay the money for superstar free agents, they should have been more active getting Yelich last year.

They’re at least competitive with a strong fan base

Makes me think Kaplan’s rumor was true

He’s Hahn’s scapegoat

So we’re scared a new owner wouldn’t spend? And that’s different than Jerry how?

There has been a lot that shack has said on the board and privately that was dead on. He never once said it was a done deal for the Sox.

Drafting has been awful

Said it before, but please just have Yoan, Anderson and Eloy bat consecutively. I don’t have much desire to watch the other 6 bat.

My great grandmother could have built a great farm system with the tradeable assets he had. He’s done one thing good in his career, and that was contract extensions. Everything else has been comically bad.

If Jerry is going to be cheap, then find a GM that is creative and good at identifying talent. For Hahn to pay so much this offseason for mediocre talent just continues to show he shouldn’t keep his position. If you tried to purposely mess up an offseason, I’m still not sure you could do worse than he has.

I would rather have Avi than anyone they’ve signed this offseason
