  1. IIRC Singer has been ungodly clutch vs top teams/rivals
  2. Just a warning, if Sox take him, KLaw has always said he sees him as a reliever. No, Keith doesn't hate the Sox
  3. No Basabe, hope he's ok

Eloy is so big now, I can't imagine his size come five years from now. I love how they are trying him in LF.
  5. Get the sense that Kiley thinks Sox take Swaggerty or Madrigal
  6. If you listened to red line radio today, WSD alluded to the fact the Sox have been upset that Rodon hasn't worked hard in the offseason.
  7. This title of this post seems far too soon after the Farquhar incident
  8. Or lose a few more games last year and take Mize, who looks like a future 1 or 2 in the rotation

Basabe lifted for a ph in the 7th inning. Could he be coming up to replace Eloy?

seems strange to say given how much we talk about him, but Adolfo is quietly have an awesome season. Walk totals are way up from last year while K rate is down.
  11. That's not how you come across. In the past, you wanted them to win the last few weeks of the season when they were out of contention and you said you didn't care about draft slot. If someone was interested in titles and not just meaningless wins, then they would want a chance for the club to draft best player possible
  12. We saw how well his BS worked with Yoan and hamstring
  13. Nope that's all from me
  14. Didn't Cubs go from 100 loss team to 103 win team in 2 years
  15. They have no pitching. Worst WHIP in the majors doesn't lie. I actually read something last week that it could get worse for the pitching as their flyball/HR ratio was lower than you would expect
  16. He needs to go coach high school softball.
  17. I will say I despise what baseball has become with so many teams not even trying.
  18. If anything, it helps in terms of draft standing
  19. Giolito is a gigantic concern. Fulmer is destined to be a reliever. I do wonder how Cooper's teaching philosophy will translate to the new way hitting is taught with a focus on loft.
  20. Again, no team would give up a lot to get someone with his medical background.
  21. You really think Manny would have come here, be on a 100 loss team and be like "you know what, screw the Dodgers/Cubs/Yankees". It's not like the Lester to the Cubs situation, where there was the pre-existing relationship
  22. The sooner people allow themselves not to worry about players that will have no impact on the roster in two years, the easier this will be for them. I would much rather Lopez pitch great and they lose than for him to have done horrible with bad velocity and they sneak out a win.
  23. Can this just be called the Annual Ricky Renteria Appreciation Thread
  24. Business comes first though. And Burdi would have been the closer if he didn't get hurt. They have no other closing options
