All it does is hurt a team with fragile enough young pitching. The corner outfield defense is going to be ridiculously bad.

It’s truly amazing how badly this roster has been constructed. Palka should only be at DH.

Another dominating start for Lodolo

Jones didn’t look to be throwing very hard. Robert had a nice double, Madrigal still has a long way to go to hit legit pitching with authority

He sucks in every aspect. He would be release caliber if he wasn’t once a top prospect. Oh well, at least Moncada looks good righty.

At this point he might have to match Lance Broadway’s acting success

Gavin’s hook was infinitely better

I do wonder why in the hell is McCann hitting so high in the order this spring?

He’s just terrible from the stretch. Given how many guys he walks, this adds up. He just does so many little things poorly (pitch from stretch, hold runners, etc)

Manny, Joc and Bryce

Have a feeling there’s going to be a lot of turnover this offseason with them

I shouldn’t have used the phrase “we suck” tax. It’s more of a “we read the market wrong” tax. Anyways, happy to have Eloy here for 8 years if true.

Don’t forget they tried to extend him last year. Eloy and his agent aren’t dumb.

It does seem like the Sox have paid double what everyone else has had to pay for players this offseason. The “we suck” tax is alive and well.

So if this is true, what does the optioning to AAA mean? Can they just promote him tomorrow?

Yeah this seems far too much. I wonder if there are some additional option years included?

3 errors in an inning for Anderson

Anything would be better than letting him go and getting literally nothing in return. I still have no idea why they let him go this offseason if they weren't going to legitimately go after Bryce.

I don't disagree, but they haven't acquired a single valuable asset over the last two offseasons. Not getting anything for Abreu or Avi two offseasons ago still stings.

Sometimes I wonder what the hell has happened to the training staff over the last year. Never seen so many strange occurrences.

First thing I thought of was it’s a depth move for when they trade Jace or Bummer

I heard they were all set to take Stroman, but Hawkins unexpectedly fell to them

So why shouldn’t we be pissed if we get duped every year?

The fact there haven’t been serious calls for Hahn to be fired and put into the worst GM of all time Hall of Shame illustrates how little the fan base cares anymore.

Would love to know how Hahn thought Nova would translate well to the Sox and the AL? Just an amazing offseason he had.
