Yeah I would say the fact is that he hasn't said something along the lines of "you can't put all your eggs into one basket" is a good thing.

yep, we're his safety school right now. Still waiting to hear back from his dream school(s)

What else is Hahn really going to say? Yes, we're going to make sure we offer the most money to the point that preferences don't even matter?

And I swear this has nothing to do with what Ron said, but if Harper does end up getting the Cubs or Dodgers to offer him a huge front loaded contract with early opt-out, why wouldn't he take that?

There's more to that quote, as he discussed family situations, etc. (I think this is in regards to Charlie Morton, who wanted to pitch closer to his wife's family in Florida). If you listen to the whole thing, it didn't come across as pessimistic.

Harper and Delmonico are friends from Team USA growing up

it would mean that the agent(s) have told them what their client is seeking. Doesn't mean anything in terms of working on a deal.

if it's Hayward or Yu, yes. If it's Chatwood, then it's just as likely to free up space for reliever/middle infielder.

He's going to announce on ESPNU with 4 hats in front of him

Phillies already got out of that deal.

PTNBL is Encarnacion, I assume?

EE might be going to Tampa

He wasn’t referring to Harper

Extra money for Harper thanks Y2J for your work

Sorry, meant Brantley

He also said he doesn’t want to sign players that might block prospects in 3 or so years.

To front load their offers to Manny or Harper

I actually think it’s good if they haven’t offered a deal yet. At face value, would mean that they didn’t get told it’s too low.

Something to keep an eye on is McCutchen’s contract is incredibly backloaded. Only 10 mil for this year.

I think Puig ends up on the Indians in an eventual Kluber trade with Ruiz and others

How about this (I know it’s virtually impossible): Yanks trade Stanton to Phillies for Kingery, Yanks sign Harper and WSox sign Manny (Dodgers sign Pollock and LeMahieu)

rabbit tweeted yesterday the visit to Chicago wasn't true

Not too sad the Sox didn’t get him

You think the pictures Boras were referring to was the Jordan one?

Yes correct
