Sox WSD twitter account has the videos

In the segment with O'Dowd and others, he said should be announced before ST.

So Rosenthal said a new TV deal would be announced likely before Spring Training. Was this public knowledge?

he actually has good Cubs sources, and also had been adamant the Sox wouldn't be contenders for Bryce/Manny

so did David Kaplan say today that the Sox wouldn't be outbid for Harper? Saw someone say that on twitter.

Jayson Stark recently tweeted the Sox have checked in on Brantley, fyi. Unlike the Phillies, I don't see the Sox going after two corner outfielders.

https://mobile.twitter.com/jaysonst/status/1072645611491598336 Sox connected to Brantley again. How will Boras use the Sox to drive up Harper’s price if this happens?

Michael Kay was just on YES Network saying Yanks want to get Manny on shorter deal (5 years), but he threw out idea of 5/200 as something that might be interested in.

Yep, I just want two core players that you can expect to be quality caliber players come 2020-2022 on the Sox. They massively failed doing this last offseason, so they need to be more aggressive.

Well that guy did have Ohtani, so that at least gives it a .1% chance of being legit.

But they better have a plan B though that helps the core going forward and isn't just going to try and help them win 75 games this season. It seems like 2018 on the field (and injuries) was such a disaster that they're feeling the need to energize the fan base.

agreed, but that's also why I said on the field he's not worth it. Off the field, I totally get the need for him.

on the field, he's not worth the money he's going to get IMO

Can't link at the time, but reports on twitter that Mets want Grandal if they can't get Realmuto

I think they want to get rid of 2 of their outfielders (Joc, Puig, Kemp, Taylor) and 2 of their starters (Hill, Wood, Maeda)

I don't think it's even close that he's a better fit

From a luxury tax standpoint, isn't it harder for teams to manage short term, high AAV contracts because the AAV is what counts for the luxury tax?

no, supposed to in the next few weeks.

Amazing, isn't it. I actually think the visits are a good thing, as it could justify Machado picking the Sox even if it's because they're giving him the most money.

You could also see one of them play DH against LHP if Palka is our primary DH

In a week full of awful posts, this might be the best. thank you

well Grandal has that in common with Castillo
