This guy on twitter has had some solid Cubs info in the past and says Shields is on their radar: https://mobile.twitter.com/CharlsMeow/status/1031586611220238337

I find it fascinating they had the jerseys of his in storage for a while waiting to be put out at the Sports Depot as soon as he was called up.

Reports last year at the time of the trade is Blake didn't project as a CF defensively. Also, from the games I've seen on tv, Gonzalez makes the most consistent hard contact between himself, Gonzalez and Basabe. In regards to scouting the game logs, Basabe seems to strike out looking a lot and needs work on his stealing technique.

I highly doubt Sox would push the Kopech start back another day if tonight is rained out. Thousands of tickets have been sold for tomorrow since the announcement. Also, another day off for Yoan. Wonder if they're protecting him from strikeout record?

I didn't mind the show, it just did nothing to make me really interested in anything going forward. I will say if there's ever a briefcase tossing Hall of Fame, Lesnar is a first ballot pick

Yep back to fast forwarding the DVR through Raw and Smackdown starting tomorrow

I don't think Ricky would have liked his hustle if Field of Dreams is historically accurate

Didn't he get destroyed in the postseason vs Toronto?

Best outfield prospect in Sox history?

Just stop. He's not anywhere as bad defensively as you think.

Shields on the move? https://mobile.twitter.com/scottmerkin/status/1031295214089105408

Agreed, they need someone they can rely on for innings next year.

Seems like an injury waiting to happen

Filthy stuff by Jace

Yoan is so freaking broken

And that's where the coaching staff, that's supposed to be here to help the young guys develop, need to be held accountable.

hands of stone

Don't know if you've heard this, but he has a big house in Arizona

He also isn't a comic, but unfortunately he tries to be one far too often. He's significantly better when he does games on ESPN.

Yoan has got to rotate his hips when he's swinging righty. Far too stiff from that side.

Teacher's pet....I still say the Timmy/Avi ones were complete crap by Renteria

what happened

It's kinda amazing he gets paid a lot of money to be so awful. He has brought nothing to the table this year.

Beautiful swing by Timmy there!

He'll have Kopech throwing 94mph in no time
