Wanted India or Kelenic

Especially since Avi has probably hustled the most of anyone in the organization on routine grounders since he's been here.

More bullshit from Ricky. Avi has had a bad hammy for months, has a sore knee and gets benched for not busting his ass on a routine fly out. https://mobile.twitter.com/scotgregor/status/1030659818074394624

Jon Daniels is the Cubs MVP of the 2nd half

He's so gonna get to 100

Glasses!

Good at bat but forgets that's ball 4....man he's strange

Avi benched for not running hard on his fly out? https://mobile.twitter.com/scottmerkin/status/1030631305225166848

Anderson having a real good game so far

Hansen's short starts are planned right now. He didn't walk anyone in 3 innings and got a lot of swings and misses. You should be excited about this.

Madrigal has hit into 4 DP already in the minors. He's someone that it should be an automatic hit and run when he's up and someone is on first.

oh boy, please be ok Cease. Wonder if he was dealing with soreness coming into the start as they pushed him back a day to tonight.

Yep, he just needs to go away and be the permanent punchline to why Hahn should have been fired in 2016.

Best line drive hitter I've seen in the org after Eloy this year.

Why did Avi get pulled?

Some nice home field official scoring to give him an unearned run.

Cease strikes 3 guys out, but needs 42 pitches and gives up 1 run. That's quite the lengthy inning.

Man that's bad managing by Renteria. Have to put the contact play on when Engel is on deck.

Agreed, no explosion in his legs. His defense has been good at least.

Have to wonder also if they thought they would unload Shields to create an opening. Either way, Getz really messed up in that interview a few weeks ago.

Besides me

Gotcha, I thought you were referencing his huge power increase. IIRC, Roberts had an amazing base stealing technique in terms of getting a running lead.

I said this numerous times watching him at Oregon St, but he's not super fast. He's way more effective due to his instincts. He was something like 39/47 stealing bases in his Beavers career. I'm sure he'll get more effective as he learns the personnel he's facing.

Brian Roberts got busted for using PEDS. He's a bad comparison.

Way closer to 5-8 than the 15-20 some have projected on here. I've seen highlights of him making real good contact for W-S and not being able to get it over outfielder's head.
