You know we could never be so lucky
-
Steverson should be fired after today's game. The quality of at bats all week have been inexcusable.
-
Good god, so ridiculous. Stop guessing! This is where he should sit the rest of the game if he can't put into practice what they're telling him to do
-
Hahn should be fired (once again) if he calls up Kopech or Eloy now.
-
You mean guessing
-
You also see the Indians just demolish him today because they've seen his sinker movement so much this year, they're not surprised by it the first time through the order.
-
Yep, the Sox are trying to desperately get him to think this way.
-
It's also because his secondary off speed pitches in terms of slider and curve are really bad. His splitter has graded out ok, but for the most part, hitters know they can sit on the sinker and it's been up too much in the zone.
-
Nope, it's legit. Have him bat either 1st or 2nd.
-
He hasn't looked right in the leadoff spot. Seems to be pressing.
-
Just let Omar leadoff from now on
-
I agree with you about getting tossed. At this point, he has nothing to lose.
-
Baseball savant has it as a strike.
-
yep, no reason to waste more innings on someone that shouldn't be in the future plans as a starter.
-
on the corner, that's way too close to take
-
swing the bat...can't be taking first pitch fastball strike and last pitch fastball strike. Really freaking disappointing
-
every sinker is up in the zone. Thankfully with Covey, we have too much pitching in the organization.
-
Sox have 3 guys in lineup with an OPS over .703 on August 12th. I didn't know it's still the dead ball era
-
Totally fine with that
-
Just make Covey the closer. He's complete garbage as a starter. He's starting to creep up on last year's ERA.
-
The Sox need a new hitting coach and desperately need to get a new CF for next season
-
Terrible at bat by Anderson
-
Awesome command for Kopech tonight!
-
Gotta love Yolmer being 1-25 off Bauer in his career being allowed to continue to bat 2nd despite being one of the worst hitters in baseball since the ASB.
-
Such a meatball by Shields.
