Narvaez seems to be terrible at framing low pitches

QUOTE (iamshack @ May 19, 2017 -> 04:08 AM) Something clicked with his pitch recognition. f*** you, Todd. At what point do you move him up to 3rd in the lineup? Melky batting there is insane

Moncada to DL
It has to be hard to open Twinkies without using a thumb

2017 MLB DRAFT
Gives up grand slam. Not impressed at all, as he looks like a reliever with the swings lefties are getting off of him.

5/18 Games
Shouldn't it be only 1 earned for Giolito
-
5/18 Games
Safe to say Delmonico is not a 3b defensively. Really wish he got reps in LF
-
5/18 Games
Doesn't seem to be very sharp again. Lots of good contact off him
-
2017 MLB DRAFT
Not overly impressed. Some good swings off his fastball

5/18 Games
With Moncada on DL and Collins sitting out, it helps illustrate how little offensive talent there is in the system after top guys

Nationals acquire Doolittle/Madson from As
QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ May 18, 2017 -> 08:20 PM) Let's say Robertson is performing well... when looking at what some teams have paid to get closers at the deadline for playoff runs, is Robles really too much to ask? Easily too much. Soto or Kieboom probably too much unless Sox pay a ton of money.

2017 MLB DRAFT
I had no idea Pavin Smith has been so mediocre in ACC play. A big no thanks to drafting him

2017 MLB DRAFT
Faedo should be pitching on ESPN tonight. Watched a lot of highlights of him and almost all his strikeouts on the slider

QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ May 18, 2017 -> 05:06 AM) I keep expecting Frazier to start turning things around and it's just not happening. He looks finished. Even when he makes good contact, ball isn't jumping like last year

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 18, 2017 -> 05:55 AM) I'm just not sure where he's going with this. Is this another case of Caufield being Caulfield or does he not remember Rodon's improvements from the previous year? If he doesn't like what Rodon showed his first two years, he's going to hate the pitchers coming up from the minors the next few years

White Sox @ Angels 9:07 CT
Wow what a battle between Avi and Anderson this inning. Fun bad time

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 18, 2017 -> 05:37 AM) Watching the struggles of Rodon and now Fulmer, it's pretty obvious that taking the top college arm doesn't always equate to an automatic slam dunk (and sure, Kolek/Aiken haven't done much, either). It's not Dillon Tate bad, but it just goes to show how uncertain scouting can be. Look no further than Gordon Beckham and Viciedo on the hitting side. Or Courtney Hawkins (he's now replaced Mitchell as our case study in bad drafting.) The White Sox simply HAVE to be better at evaluating talent...especially when they can no longer afford to have a Top 10-12 payroll. What Rodon struggles on the field? He was on track to be a stud coming into the year. Fulmer always had a lot of question marks, as did Tate and Jay.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 18, 2017 -> 05:33 AM) I think you are letting this series cloud your judgement a bit. I just haven't seen him do anything special in-game. I think he does a great job relating and motivating the players, but Hawk saying he's one of Reinsdorf's best moves ever seems like a very premature statement
