Passive approach leads to easy K again for Moncada. He doesn't seem to be able to catch up to anything with velocity above the waist.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 30, 2017 -> 07:24 PM) Rodon is pretty good today. Yep, quite impressive. Great to see

3rd time in the last week the Sox have been no-hit going into the 5th.

QUOTE (Knackattack @ Jul 30, 2017 -> 07:09 PM) To me he seems to be looking at more pitches but he has been late on a lot of swings Yep, he's taking strikes and swinging at balls.

Wow, the first pitch to Abreu for a strike was as wide as you'll see

QUOTE (Knackattack @ Jul 30, 2017 -> 07:31 PM) Yeah if I'm Renteria right now I'm chewing this ump out. 2 pitches easily could have been called strikes there that were closer than a couple of tomlin called strikes My god this ump sucks

Twins got more for Garcia than they gave up

Haha, so freaking passive. If your approach is to not be ready for fastballs, you have no prayer of being a productive hitter.

QUOTE (Insp @ Jul 30, 2017 -> 03:23 AM) Yet another wasted out through bunting................... It's the perfect time. Struggling hitter, great pitcher. Not likely to get two more hits so get Hanson into scoring position
-
Great at bats for Hanson tonight. Bunting is allowed here

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 30, 2017 -> 02:17 AM) What happened to Bummer throwing 95-97? Same gun that had Poreda at 99

Good for Timmy!

Can't take good pitches to hit from Kluber though on the first pitch. Falling behind against him is a recipe for disaster.
