I think it's a good trade in terms of resources spent to acquire innings pitched. Just feels though like the boat is already sinking and those holes need to be plugged ASAP

These at bats are just awful. I'm not even mad about this tailspin. Talent level on the team is nowhere near championship caliber.

Team has no prayer if Eaton, Abreu and Frazier aren't above average hitters. Expected loss, but disappointing to see them get blown out late. Sale needs to be ready from pitch one tomorrow against a loaded lineup

Rodon and Purke are possibly the two biggest lefty college prospects of the last ten years. Only other one I can recall is Hultzen.

They won;t be great but overall they are a decent pen. They just are lacking difference makers offensively. Even if you put Melky and Austin in the lineup, there is a huge lack of power. The Sox have 6 homers all year from the outfield and 2 from catchers
