  1. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 10:02 PM) Duke lost this game Yeah, no. Terrible offense did
  2. He just can't get the job done. Massive warning track power this year.
  3. Time for AJax to shut me up. How about a gapper to right center like he used to do in Detroit?
  4. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:54 PM) God forbid anyone ever be on base. OBP is overrated
  5. Nice Frazier!! Too bad about top of the inning
  6. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:51 PM) Lol abreu Most predictable strikeout of the season. I miss first half 2014 Abreu.
  7. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:51 PM) 1-0 pitch, you look for a fastball not an off-speed pitch out of the zone. Jesus Can't believe the poor thought process from the hitters today. Just a stupid bunch of hitters.
  8. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:49 PM) Another Rollins pop up OPS below .400 against righties now. Sad thing is we know they'll keep putting him out there.
  9. Why are you chasing a borderline pitch down 2 to start inning on 1-0 count?
  10. QUOTE (soxfan85 @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 09:44 PM) They are going to score 3 runs this week
  11. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 09:43 PM) So, should we use Duke as our ROogy. Righties 0-6 against him this year
  12. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:38 PM) Are we really intentionally walking a .154 hitter? Sure paid off
  13. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 09:38 PM) Are we really intentionally walking a .154 hitter? Strange, seemed like the guy to go after
  14. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 09:34 PM) Duke can't get anyone out His pitching makes my soul hurt
  15. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 09:32 PM) Just wasting winnable games against bad teams +1...to be fair, they've won more of these 50/50 games than they've lost. Problem is starting tomorrow, they face legit offenses.
  16. Abreu vs Street's slider in the 9th should be comical
  17. Cowley was on the radio today saying Samardzija used to "bully" the Sox catchers into calling the game he wanted to throw. He said this year that Avila and Navarro are much more willing to stand up for themselves to call the game Cooper wants.
  18. Nice AB for Avila...let Saladino run for him
  19. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:24 PM) Ishikawa 2015 had a 105 wRC+ at AAA. 2016 it's 107. Jerry Sands 2015 was 176. I'm not sure relying on Ishikawa to do anything is a sound bet. It at least gives you a player who can possible scoop at throw at 1B.
  20. No excuse for Avi to ever be facing a side-arming RHP in the 8th inning of a game. The construction of the Sox bench better be fixed after today's game.
  21. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:22 PM) Got any other ideas? If no one is going to hit right now, you might as well stack the guys that are actually hitting Your idea is fine, just that the options are soooooooooooo bad. It shouldn't be this hard to find a DH that can hit decently vs RHP. Where's Calvin Pickering when you need him.
  22. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:19 PM) Really need to shake this lineup up or something, these guys are dead on their feet. Eaton Lawrie Cabrera Abreu Frazier Saladino Rollins AJax Avila that's depressing
  23. I wonder if we see Ishikawa called up for E. Johnson after this game. Really need a back-up 1B and a lefty bat on the bench.
  24. The goal against Weaver is to make him throw the ball over the plate. Swinging at the first pitch out of the zone is exactly what he wants the opposition to do.
