  1. Lawrie took an insane amount of called third strikes in ST
  2. Both pitchers struggling with the mound
  3. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 7, 2016 -> 02:26 AM) Anybody notice that weak ass throw to second by Eaton? Doesn't look like he can throw the ball in the air for anything longer than 150 feet or so
  4. Wonder who he will blame this year
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 07:27 PM) On a side note, for all the talk about the Giants pitching in that park, I am impressed with some of the bats they have developed. Everyone knows Posey, but their infield with Panik, Duffy, Crawford is just outstanding, and Belt has got some talent too. That lineup has serious depth, especially if Pagan remembers how to hit the baseball.
  6. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 06:48 AM) Well I guess that helps a bit. I thought Eaton was being all grumpy after we just went up. Might be a case of, "I just high fived you, now this is awkward". Agreed
  7. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 06:42 AM) Wow Eaton. Stop being a sore loser. I know that video looks bad, but it doesn't show how he did give him a high five a minute earlier.
  8. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 06:38 AM) I remember questioning a lot of our shifts last season as well. All fans feel this way, and they forget how the shift actually helped in some situations (ie: Vogt's first AB)
  9. Excellent...heck of a win!
  10. Nice pitch for the K!
  11. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 05:33 AM) Melky looks so damn shaky out there. Is it me or does he look heavier?
  12. Didn't think it was the biggest deal regarding interaction between Eaton/Rollins there. The homer a few weeks ago was way worse. Like I said, Eaton did congratulate him when he got into dugout.
  13. QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 05:24 AM) Fathom, where you at with that awkward look between Eaton and Rollins haha, definitely noticed that! I did see Eaton congratulate him initially
  14. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 05:20 AM) Don't really understand the criticism of Robin here. Yeah, that was more on Jones having awful command.
  15. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 06:19 AM) This is why I said in yesterday's game thread that we need another lefty reliever, but one without a reverse split (i.e. not Jennings, as he operates like a righty split-wise) RF is a gigantic hole. Eaton needs to be in LF, but Melky and Avi are so bad defensively they can't play RF either.
  16. Wow, awful throw by Eaton. He's clearly not a right fielder.
  17. Wow, not even close.
  18. Throw the slider on 3-2 please
  19. Avi has no chance against fastball still
  20. Nice Albers..Duke to get first batting in 8th
  21. Nice shift
  22. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 05:28 AM) I missed the Davis double. What pitch did he hit? Slider on outer half
  23. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 05:26 AM) I dont think Frazier and Lawrie, both of whom will bel angling for extensions (possibly with the White Sox!) were willing to let it get out that they didn't like Drake. Rollins is probably out of f***s to give at this point in his career and gladly took "credit" for closing Clubhouse Daycare. Well said
  24. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 05:26 AM) The Sox play 27 games in the first 28 days of the season, I don't agree with Ventura's decision to not carry an extra pitcher. A long man/sixth starter type. I don't get carrying Sands when you're not going to face more than a few LHP during the first few weeks
