  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 26, 2015 -> 01:05 AM) We would have been better off getting Justin Smoak for nothing than overpaying LaRoche in his mid-30's. Severe lack of bat speed for LaRoche.
  2. This offense looks so overmatched. Is this rock bottom for it?
  3. LaRoche is fouling off an insane amount of good fastballs to hit lately. He's seeing ball well, just can't put it in play consistently.
  4. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 26, 2015 -> 12:46 AM) Is there anything this team is good at? Tired of all the 1st inning runs. Robertson and Avi being clutch
  5. QUOTE (lord chas @ May 25, 2015 -> 11:44 PM) This loser won't even give us 5 innings Leave him in there, especially after he seemed pissed about the short hook in recent starts. DFA after game.
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 26, 2015 -> 12:38 AM) Garcia pulled after hitting in the top of the 2nd on Monday. This is again starting to seem like one of those "should have sat down for 2-3 days when the first injury happened, did not, keeps hurting it, and winds up on the DL" games. It's quite puzzling. Need to do what's best for him and that's clearly to get some rest.
  7. Sox out scored 38-13 in first now this year?
  8. Keep calling fastballs to a bunch of strong guys. Good decisions
  9. Brilliant decision to let Noesi start
  10. What you know, a bad first inning for a starter and a defensive miscue
  11. An incredibly dumb play by Alexei. These guys continue to make such stupid plays.
  12. These guys chase so many bad pitches
  13. Terrible effort all around today.
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 24, 2015 -> 09:37 PM) Salazar went 6, Marcum went 6.2 My fault...what was the stat someone posted yesterday about it, if you know?
  15. Not a lot of hard hit outs this home stand
  16. Cubs bring in Montero and Fowler, who have been awesome for them. Between them and KC, why can't the Sox get offensive guys to perform well after a move
  17. Please make some personnel changes tonight. Can't keep running this 8-9 out there.
  18. On the home stand, I believe every starter went at least 7 innings.
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 24, 2015 -> 09:19 PM) Fathom, you can't 'go for it' with a defense this putrid. They aren't winning anything and I would think they'll FINALLY figure out you have to catch the ball and throw the ball and start to rebuild. Defense will look much better if you bring in new catcher and 3b. I also think Anderson will wind up at 2b.
  20. QUOTE (reiks12 @ May 24, 2015 -> 08:15 PM) Yeah but Sale is one of the only two marketable players on this team. They aren't going to trade him. Not with the abysmal attendance figures and low popularity in the city. All matters what direction they want to go. I think they will go for it again next year, which means a Sale and Q stays. If they are looking to rebuild and trade veterans, then one of them should be dealt.
  21. It wouldn't shock me to hear Q is available at the deadline. He's a good pitcher on a great contract, but if you can bring in a starting position player and a good prospect, then it could make sense.
