  1. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:17 AM) With the amount of games against your division you have to win divisional games to have a chance. Losing large amounts of games to your divisional foes makes it nearly impossible. The pitching in the division (besides Twins) seems like it's going to be really good. Indians have 4 guys with all-world stuff
  2. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:15 AM) Sad part is the cubs are all they are to be and are playing well. The sox will have zero coverage and interest in about a week. As I said earlier, the Sox have just killed all momentum they had as a franchise. I'm honestly not sure how to get things turned around.
  3. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:12 AM) Its early. We keep on playing like this against the division and early will become hey look X team once in a 100 years came back from 20 down to win the division. And Pearl Harbor/in or out threads
  4. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:12 AM) Didn't Abreu get a single with Eaton on base in the first? Sorry thought he walked in the first.
  5. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 03:08 AM) Lol shut out being shut out again. Bauer had bad command and hung a lot of pitches today. Sox don't have a hit with someone on base today.
  6. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:07 AM) Wow didn't expect this board to turn on Robin that quick. He brings nothing to the table. Team came out flat this year and already made two of the dumbest decisions a Sox manager has made in a long time.
  7. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 03:03 AM) Most definitely No doubt
  8. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 03:00 AM) This could be the 6th time out of 12 the Sox offense scores 1 run or less. What really sucks is Ventura absolutely should be on the hot seat, but this organization is too loyal.
  9. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 01:58 AM) 1) plz staph 2) what happened? 2 run double on an upper 90s fastball. Reached base 3 more times tonight. That 2-3-4 is incredible.
  10. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 01:56 AM) Oh look, the Tigers won again. 6.5 out
  11. Well Kris Bryant is incredible.
  12. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:51 AM) Fixed Definitely true with RF and 3B. This team added some good talent this offseason, but it goes to show how big of a mess they were in prior.
  13. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 01:49 AM) If Ventura goes who replaces him? I have guessed Cooper this year then Gardenhire next
  14. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 01:45 AM) He is worse in the OF than he was in 2014, which was worse than he was in 2013. Hopefully he will hit enough to DH when LaRoche is gone. Should have made him a LF after the injury
  15. So we have a RF who can't hit for power or field.
  16. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 01:40 AM) It really depends on what your definition of "bad" is. This is probably the best we will get from Danks on any particular start, and he's still nothing better than average. Against an awful lineup
  17. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:36 AM) 7 f***ing pitches. Steverson needs to go No way, if there's one person that needs to be gone, it's the manager. They just suck in every aspect of the game.
  18. 5 pitch inning? Nice approach guys
  19. Detroit and Cleveland really benefitted by their incredible Bauer and Greene trades. I blame Didi!!!!
  20. QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:31 AM) It's sad when sox have 2 hitting coaches and still can't get them to hit This year, it's been all about chasing pitches out of the zone that are pitchers' pitches. Basically, if a pitcher follows the scouting report, they're having pretty good success. It's not a very well constructed lineup once you get past #4.
  21. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 01:30 AM) It is amazing how many times the ball finds Gillaspie and Garcia . Matt Davidson being a bust really hurts. Be nice to have more power in the lineup.
  22. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:28 AM) It was a wind blown flyball. It would be nice if the Sox would hit one. Why do that when you can get behind in the count trying to bunt?
  23. That has got to be an error.
  24. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 02:27 AM) Hahn and Co., they know they suck, right? Case study in how to kill your offseason momentum in 2 weeks. This is a nightmare
  25. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 01:25 AM) It really is. Regardless of its early or whatever, they just look like a last place team. They're going to keep saying no need to panic, and then all of a sudden, they'll be faced with whether or not to trade Samardzija
