  1. Some great at bats tonight
  2. Nice eye by Viciedo
  3. Tigers clearly should just make this a bullpen game
  4. Any reports today about his elbow? I'm happy they aren't rushing him, but still like hearing if he's still having pain.
  5. Awesome series!
  6. Fun game so far with the young guys contributing a lot.
  7. Is it a change or splitter
  8. His stuff was very crisp the last few innings.
  9. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 01:56 AM) Beckham is barreling up the ball pretty well, just right at people. He's been hitting well, but that was not a case of getting the barrel on the ball.
  10. Wow, Dunn hit the crap out of that
  11. Not quite sure what game Hawk/Stone are watching. That was an off-the-end-of-the-bat fly ball.
  12. Biggest inning of the game for Rienzo here.
  13. Nice Semien! Great, easy swing by him.
  14. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 02:34 AM) I'm glad it didn't get caught, because I'm not entirely confident he would retouch second base, lol Exactly

Ravelo is simply on fire. Average is up to .371
  16. Great base running by Viciedo there
  17. Nice Alexei! Haven't seen him hit one that far to center in a long time.
  18. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 01:25 AM) I am in the Rienzo fan club. It was either Rienzo, Paulino, or Lessman. That is an easy pick. I don't get the b****ing by some how he sucks It's more that as DA just said, he seems to have a strange game plan with his pitches tonight.
  19. Nice sequence there
  20. Wow he has nothing on these pitches. Another starter with diminished stuff this year.
  21. Rienzo seems to be hanging a lot of pitches

Davidson just can't hit RHP this year.
  23. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 12:34 AM) Tuesday - Quintana Wednesday - Noesi Thursday - Danks Friday - Carroll/Sale Saturday - Rienzo/Sale Please don't bring back Sale so quickly.

Johnson's OPS against RHP around 1.1 now
  25. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 28, 2014 -> 11:22 PM) Hence, the Davidson acquisition rather than someone like a Soler at the high A level...or the equivalent of another Courtney Hawkins. Mitigating the risk factor, while tamping down the upside just a bit. We're in Year 1 of a strategic rebuild that started this offseason, they're in Year 4. And we're already well behind the Rays in attendance. If it wasn't for the Indians, we'd be last. That CLE situation is a good example of two huge sell-offs decimating a similar fanbase that supported the hell out of that team in the 90's/early 2000's and set a record for consecutive sellouts at Jacobs. And bad ownership...disliked by locals. Well, maybe not Sterling/Snyder/Ted Stepien bad...but BAD. To be honest, the Sox can't catch a break with their attendance right now. The good weather nights seem to coincide with either the Hawks and/or Bulls playing. If Abreu and company keep playing well, they'll start creeping up to 20k a game. Given the weather today, the attendance will not be good (unless Tampa's starter pulls a Carroll and has his entire town attending the game).
