Maybe the worst stuff Noesi has had in any of his starts.

Coming into tonight, Tigers had won 12 of the last 13 starts Porcello had vs Sox

QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 02:42 AM) If it comes to the Sox trading Beckham, it's going to be interesting to see what they can get back. Same with Alexei. To me, Toronto is the obvious choice for Beckham if they trade him.

ABREU!

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 02:39 AM) OT: Leonards at bat right now. Haven't seen him yet, any thoughts?

Quick score, excellent. Porcello has nothing tonight.

Beckham looks great tonight

Stupid Astros, why didn't they take Bryant #1 last year? Bryant seems to be one of the better hitting prospects in a long time.

Wow, thought for sure Alexei hit that out

Great defense that inning!

Nice defense by Viciedo there

Wow, that was a bad pitch. He was looking bad against the offspeed pitches.

QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 02:08 AM) Who would have predicted pre-season that by June 10th Conor Gillaspie would be hitting 170 points higher in the majors than Matt Davidson at AAA It's becoming hard to envision a scenario where Davidson takes over 3rd from Gillaspie unless there's an injury or trade.

Davidson is 4 for his last 33 with 3 homers

Abreu doesn't seem to have much of a plan at the plate. In that situation, I'm pretty sure everyone in the world knew he'd be getting a sinker inside.

Another heartbreaking loss. Lets see how they respond, as they have responded quite well after previous tough losses.

That was quick

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 8, 2014 -> 05:05 AM) DV has reached his ceiling and not more than a average player at best. Is he even average?

Viciedo 0-17 on the road trip....yikes.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 8, 2014 -> 04:57 AM) VENTURAAAA At least Putnam has got to watch the 8th from the bullpen. This is one of those innings where the coaching decisions are hard to defend.

And then leaves RHP to face Hamilton. Have a game Robin

QUOTE (Butter Parque @ Jun 8, 2014 -> 05:48 AM) There was absolutely no reason for that. Save his arm. The game was already over. The Sox never do stuff like this.

You never see a manager leave a starter in that long in the 8th after 4 straight reach. Ventura is just the worst.

QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 04:36 AM) Rienzo is clearly the 5th starter and he's going to suck probably 3 out of 10 starts. If it's going to come against Weaver, that's ok. Get 'em next time. Sale tomorrow. Yep, hopefully the offense shows some life the rest of the way tonight. The offense isn't giving the starters a large margin for error of late.

If the Sox are actually going to contend, they are going to need another starter most likely. Rienzo with a few bad starts now.
