Shocker, more dropped passes. Unbelievably awful play calling there. And please ABC, stop showing Te'o every other play when he's been a non-factor tonight. Musberger and Herbstreit were terrible on the broadcast tonight.

This USC quarterback is awful. Te'o might win the Heisman for getting a pass thrown right to him.

Marquise Lee picked a bad game to play terribly so far. He's doing his best Devin Hester as wide receiver impression so far. It's impressive how much Golson has improved from the Michigan game this season.

QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 25, 2012 -> 01:57 AM) But of course, Manziel leaves the game in the first quarter with a knee injury. Not sure if he'll return tonight, which is a shame because he was putting up insane numbers. He's back in the game, it's scary how good he might be next year in this system.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 20, 2012 -> 05:56 AM) USC has to be one of the worst BCS teams in the country. They won six games last year. Completely different roster, but that's not a good thing in CBB. Yeah, some of the guys they added like the two Wake Forest guys were terrible at Wake. They'll win more than 6 games this year, but they're likely to be a sub .500 team on the year. I can't believe USC was favored tonight.

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Nov 20, 2012 -> 06:52 AM) I am not goin to miss Tyler Griffey at all, but I'm very happy dont have to watch weber's boring ass offense anymore. Is USC really this bad? Pretty much. Jio Fontan is a terrible point guard. It's amazing O'Neill still has a job at USC, but they clearly don't care about basketball.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 20, 2012 -> 04:56 AM) Yeah, it's not like Chaminade is playing out of their minds either (at least not relative to a decent d1 team). Texas is just bad. Meanwhile, Kansas is looking good on ESPN2. Ben McLemore is quite impressive. I know it seems we say this every other year or so, but it's astonishing how awful the talent in college basketball is this season. I don't mind rooting for IU and think Cody Zeller is a good basketball player, but him being in the position of Preseason Player of the Year is scary.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 20, 2012 -> 03:52 AM) Texas down 10. Texas looks awful, Chaminade easily the better team so far tonight. Extremely weak Maui tournament this year with a lot of these named teams being down this season.

I don't think the Bears roster has any confidence they can win a game with the back-up QB in the game.

QUOTE (Capn12 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 11:06 PM) No matter what GT's record is, I want NO part of that offense. We can't even stop FCS teams running the triple option. I want nothing to do with a Paul Johnson team with 3+ weeks to prepare. Usually it's the teams that have a long time to prepare for Johnson's offense that are able to shut them down. Don't discredit how awful GT's defense is. I think Jason Campbell could light them up.

QUOTE (Capn12 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 10:51 PM) Not sure I'd agree with the Jarvis Jones bit. He flat out disappeared in a few games this year, including the blowout vs. South Carolina. I'd argue that Jadeveon Clowney has more of an impactful presence than Jones, and I don't think he is remotely close to being deserving of such talk that Te'o is getting for the heisman. Trust me, I'm a huge Clowney fan. That USC/UGa game last year was probably my favorite game of the year. I actually saw a projection that had GT playing USC in a bowl game.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 10:42 PM) In their partial survey after this weekend. His stats as a defensive player isnt Heisman worthy regardless of which team he plays on. If he won the Heisman it would be one of the worst winners of all time. 6 picks 1.5 sacks and less than 100 tackles going into the final weekend? Thats like a very, very good CB. But he doesnt return punts, doesnt play CB and doesnt run back TD's. Just like Honey Badger it would be a travesty. Charles Woodson was the winner because he was the best player on the field at all times scoring for the offense, defense and special teams. But Teo isnt even as productive as Suh was when he finished second. If he wins it would be because everyone else in the running is an underclassmen and his personal story. His production is just not Heisman worthy. Could you even say he's the best defensive player in the country? I sure wouldnt. How about comparing him to the best backer (and not even the best defensive player) on the other undefeated team in the country? He's not even the best defensive player on his own team (Tuitt has much more impressive stats). Jarvis Jones of UGa is probably the most impactful defensive player in the country. Rock, Te'o has 1.5 sacks, not 10.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 01:59 PM) Miami is self-imposing again this bowl season. That will be 2 post season bans plus a potential of a third if they win Saturday b/c Miami is also giving up their appearance in the ACC title game if they get there. That will make the NCAA's job really easy come spring time when the penalties should be given out. Probably something along the same lines as what Ohio State got for scholarship reductions. Worst case scenario is probably UNC. Giving Ga Tech a chance at a BCS game and the title of worst BCS team ever.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 03:47 AM) I would say that USC has no chance, but who figured that the FBS worst defense would hold K-State to 24 points. Fight On! If this causes USC to throw underneath more to their receivers, it could actually work out better for them than trying to hit the long ball all night with Barkley. A lot of USC fans hate how they've called plays for Barkley this year and that he seems to lock in too much on Lee. Saw on twitter that if he played this weekend, he had a chance to lead the nation in TD passes and interceptions.

I saw a stat tonight that made me chuckle. Manziel has forced more fumbles this season than Te'o (1-0). In all honesty, I still have no doubt that Tuitt and Nix are the best players on ND's defense, as Te'o's been extremely average the last 3 games. It would be a shame if they don't give Manziel the Heisman just because he's a freshman. Te'o's a very good defensive player on a great defensive team, but his stats outside of the 6 interceptions (4 on deflected passes) just don't add up to being the best player in the country. Who do you guys think should be the Heisman as of now?
