  1. Has Abreu got a hit on anything but a fastball in this series?
  2. I'm absolutely shocked those 3 guys couldn't reach base that inning.
  3. Very kind of Flowers to get his dad the golden sombrero for Father's Day.
  4. Hopefully Ventura uses some of the starters off the bench here to try and score.
  5. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 10:45 PM) Call was for a fastball away. Reed missed. It was a fastball away
  6. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 10:44 PM) Well I see this hit coming Flare to right?
  7. You also have to love the high fastball pitch selection to Rivera there in a sac fly spot.
  8. Also, why in the hell wasn't ADA trying to steal in the top of the 9th?
  9. What a terrible throw by Rios. This is all on Ventura, just a really awful series for him.
  10. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 11:41 PM) No s*** Especially idiotic with the big hole between 1st and 2nd.
  11. Again, you much rather face DeJesus with Q than Abreu.
  12. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 11:38 PM) Bunting is so stupid here. K. Especially since you're not going to double up Gordon
  13. Here comes the bunt. Wish Q would have stayed in.
  14. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 11:02 PM) That was still a s***ty call. It was, but the first strike in that AB was perfect for him to crush.
  15. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 11:02 PM) I'd like to see Jones/Crain/Reed right now for 7-8-9 +1
  16. Someone needs to tell Flowers that when Escobar and the pitcher bat after you, you should be trying to hit a homer instead of taking numerous pitches.
  17. As a hitter, Quintana is a good pitcher. Capuano's gonna K double digits with ease.
  18. Flowers strikes out looking so freaking much. I wish he'd just swing hard 3 times and hopes he hits it. Just a bad player, yet some would rather give him the starting spot and not bring back AJ.
  19. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 09:58 PM) That was coming off the 9 game winning streak where the lineup stayed the same throughout all 9 games, iirc Correct, and outside of benching AJ today and someone like De Aza, I don't get the lineup today at all. A guy that changes speeds like Capuano does is someone that Lillibridge has very little shot against these days.
  20. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 09:52 PM) When is the last time you saw a lineup like we see today? I certainly can't remember one recently. Ozzie did it frequently. Two Sundays ago vs Millwood
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 09:39 PM) Lot of no shows for a "sellout" today. Late arriving crowd
  22. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 09:33 PM) Danks' success makes me even more on the fence about dealing Tank. Hard to judge Danks though when he's in the middle of a hot stretch.
