  1. The Score said that Fukudome is almost guaranteed to be placed on the DL in the next 24 hours. It's a rib issue. Dan Johnson should get the call up so we don't have to start Lillibridge/Flowers at 1b against a RHP.

    2012 TV Thread

QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 05:05 PM) It's funny watching Boy Meets World reruns and seeing actors that are around today have small roles on episodes. I was watching the marathon on MTV2 the other day. Probably my favorite show of all time. Which actors are you referring to? Linda Cardellini, I'm sure
  3. Blue Jays already agreed to terms with Smoral
  4. I think it's absolutely hilarious on many levels that the 30th best ERA in the AL is greg's favorite.....BRUCE CHEN
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 08:20 PM) Mark has a 3.53 era and that counts his one bad start vs. Phils. Which is good for the 30th best ERA in the NL among starters (and don't forget he pitches in the Grand Canyon)
  6. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 07:10 PM) You are right. I deserve a Kangaroo Court fine for going with the 'me thinks' crap. But I don't think I am on an island regarding Ozzie. If Miami keeps winning you will hear a lot about Ozzie nationally prolly starting at the all star break. Is that before or after Buehrle's an all-star and Ozzie is manager of the year? There's one superstar in Miami baseball right now, and it's Giancarlo Stanton.
  7. Padres will surely turn around and trade Quentin at the deadline if he stays healthy. Good for Carlos, always enjoyed watching him play.
  8. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:07 AM) Read earlier today, that they won't call him up until he is completely healthy. 1-4 today with a bunt hit
  9. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:04 AM) Paulie should be in there tomorrow. So that's good. I assume you heard this after the game? Great news
  10. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:03 AM) Sox the only team in MLB with no HR from the 3rd position. Youk where are you.. 1 homer from left side of infield. That's insane, especially with the huge power numbers from 1b/DH, catcher, LF
  11. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 02:53 AM) Lillibridge has been having some terrible plate appearances It looks like he's closing his eyes and swinging. At least he won't be playing the next two days, even if PK is out. I hope we don't have to see this 8/9 combo again for the Sox this year. Hudson didn't get his arms out on his swing once tonight, and jammed himself terribly.
  12. Lillibridge chasing ball 4 in a 4 run game. Get healthy PK
  13. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:42 AM) Good point. 5 years, $80M ($16M per) to a 30 year old -- soon to be -- DH with a career .797 OPS. And playing in a hitter's paradise as well. Ruiz is a great call for most underrated player.
  14. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:39 AM) Terrible play Rios. Unlike you this year He also got caught stealing on a fake to third, throw to first move this year.
  15. Bad luck, terrible decision making by Rios.
  16. Alexei had way too long of a swing going tonight. He really needs to start picking it up soon.
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 02:32 AM) Well he might have cost us this one. Doubt it, as you never know if Romero throws the same pitches in a closer game, etc. You also can't say that the other Sox reliever that would have come in would have held the Jays scoreless.
  18. Get hot again Dunn! Lefties sure seem more comfortable against Romero tonight.
  19. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:26 AM) Fixed that for ya. Ironically, Stewart played a huge part in the game that the Sox came back to beat the Tigers at the Cell that turned our season around, IMO.
  20. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:23 AM) The day we make Stewart a starting pitcher is a day our franchise gets a little better. I hope you mean in the minors proving he can actually get minor leaguers out first (which I think you are).
  21. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:22 AM) Stewart is garbage .330 career batting average against in his MLB career. Nothing about him makes you think he'll get things figured out at this level, especially with his velocity disappearing.
  22. Great, Rasmus is on fire. Should have been Ohman there, but oh well. Stewart just seems so easy to hit for major leaguers.
  23. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 02:16 AM) Damn you Gordon Jr and Sully...come back! +1
  24. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:09 AM) 10 HR for A.J. now. He's going to hit like 25 at this rate. That'd be quite the "rebirth" season for him at 30 something. Quite the contract year performance
