5 guys in the order under 200
-
So why didn't we trade Lillibridge this offseason when he was a hot commodity if he is barely going to play
-
So literally my two favorite NBA players tore their knee today
-
Free Lillibridge!!

The Sox have scored in ten different innings when Danks has pitched. He's allowed a run in the opponent's next half inning 6 times.

1-11 from the 7/8/9 spot tonight. Morel with the awful protect the plate swing on the 0-1 count. Go get 'em Jake! -

So Rios looks like a completely different player the last two games. Jamming himself with everything and showing no patience at the plate. -

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 02:51 AM) I wish we would get a good team again where we could point to turning points in blowout wins. Our wins are pretty cut and dried. We either get a gem pitched or have the home run bats out. Wow, way more Boston fans than Sox fans at the Cell. Hilarious. Greg, it's freezing in Chicago tonight. Red Sox fans bought tickets in advance for this game, and I'm sure the walk-up sales were miserable tonight. Screw it, at this point, I don't care if the crowd is 95% visiting team fans as long as people actually show up. -

QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 02:49 AM) Fan-f***ing-tastic. Should have traded him in the off-season. That move will come back to bite Kenny in a few years. Should have eased up on his demands. What a joke he's been this season... Don't think his fastball reached higher than 90mph tonight, and there were times it looked like he tried to get more on it and was hitting 89mph with no movement. -

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 03:48 AM) Can Abreu play 3rd? Could you imagine Balta's reaction if KW acquired Abreu and put him in LF? -

Lillibridge better be in the lineup tomorrow playing somewhere. -

The Sox offense has really slowed down this week. Still think they have to fix the #2 spot and split up Morel/Beckham at the bottom of the order. With your 8/9/2 struggling so badly, it seems like if the 3/4/5/6 can't do anything, then they won't score. -
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 03:32 AM) Painful is a kind word for it. Good, so it wasn't just me
-
Anyone get a chance to listen to Shea's interview on B&B today? Quite painful at times, as it seemed like B&B held back some of their opinions on the situation.

QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 02:27 AM) No doubt that DeAza will strike out now. He destroyed that ball. Wind is howling in, which shows you how much Konerko crushed that ball. However, makes it even more frustrating that Danks was unable to challenge hitters due to his command. -
QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 03:26 AM) Jeffery was a good pick. You wont find many people disagreeing with that one. The other two though were classic Angelo. I get the feeling Emery is the same as Angelo where he wont upgrade the offensive line until it becomes absolutely imperative. From the looks of it, they definitely wanted Shea and Jeffery with their first two picks. Haven't heard much about Hardin yet, but it sure seems like Emery believe there's enough OL depth for now.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 02:25 AM) I officially expect nothing out of Beckham offensively from now on. He's a good glove, no hit guy. Unfortunately that doesn't cut it at 2B. Dime a dozen position. Greg!! Happy to be on the same side as you. -
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 03:22 AM) Emery leaves alot to be desired running the draft. He is Angelo 2.0.......................Picks 1 and 3 suck. I think everyone knows I'm not exactly the most patient of posters, but I'm willing to give Emery a chance to prove himself. Jeffery should be no worse than a #3 starter, as he made some bad quarterbacks look better than they were.

Mitchell's been an extremely bright spot this week in what's been a crappy week for the big league team. I'd love to see highlights of his triples to see if they would have been homers at a smaller park or if he's actually benefiting from the huge dimensions.

79 extra base hits in the 19th game of the season for Red Sox. Catching them at the wrong time right now, as no way Aviles/Sweeney/Ross/Ortiz continue to play over their head. -

QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 02:09 AM) Not sure how in love I am with Jones (who is prone to walks) coming in there either. Crain being out really hurts our bullpen depth. Jones has done great so far this year, but there will be some games where he implodes. You know have two long men in your bullpen in Stewart and Axelrod. Ventura should get Santiago an inning tonight to get his confidence back. -

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 03:01 AM) sportscenter will be slobbing the nob over that one I'm sure they'll spend first 20 minutes asking Stephen Hill if he feels honored getting to be on the same team as Tebow. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 01:57 AM) Yeah, Greg's right here...The guy had retired 8 in a row to start the inning and then retired the first guy as well, and had thrown ~80 pitches. There was no reason to even have the pen up there. There was no reason in the world for him to be facing Byrd. Ventura was probably worried they'd have Sweeney bat for McDonald, which is hard to predict in the 6th inning. -

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 01:56 AM) Danks has more BIG crooked numbers in single innings last 2 years than anyone in baseball. Is that true?
