  1. Ugh, Beckham just had nothing behind those swings.
  2. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 10, 2012 -> 02:13 AM) fantastic AB for viciedo - great sign Yep, didn't even come close to chasing pitches out of the zone.
  3. QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Apr 10, 2012 -> 02:04 AM) Dammit Alex. It's hard for me to defend you when you do s*** like that! He gets a week off from criticism.
  4. Seems like it might be time for the bullpen to get involved soon.
  5. The strike out total is just nuts so far tonight for the Sox.
  6. Morel with just a nightmare start to the season. Put him in the 9th spot and leave him there please!
  7. Nice to see the lefty hitters providing the power tonight. The team has got to stop striking out so much though. Tomlin had a terrible K rate last year.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 07:28 PM) De Aza CF Morel 3B Dunn 1B Konerko DH AJP C Rios RF Ramirez SS Viciedo LF Beckham 2B Sale P Free Fukudome!
  9. Viciedo blown away by 87 mph fastball. His swing is so damn long right now. Fitting end to the game
  10. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 02:53 AM) Forgot about Uehara...God Texas has a good bullpen. And don't forget their farm system is loaded!
  11. IIRC, the Rangers outfielders haven't had to go back on a ball all game. Just a terrible performance by the offense tonight. At least Viciedo gets to bat again.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 03:38 AM) If it wasn't for Alex Rios... 0 for 7 Friday, what are we with RISP tonight? Konerko had the only hits with RISP last night. 0 for again tonight. Only 3 inning with multiple hits in an inning for the Sox this series
  13. Dunn didn't look good against LHP tonight. Hopefully he gets it going against the Indians and their righties.
  14. Jones isn't even making bad pitches, Rangers are just laying off of the change-up. It does make you wonder if he's giving the pitch away though.
  15. The Rangers are just awesome, and it's very possible we missed out on their two best starters in this series.
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 02:16 AM) He's also getting paid like a MLB starter. I don't see how Viciedo can't hit as well as Cespedes. They won't ever be the same in other aspects of the game, but once Dayan figures it out, he can be a better hitter. Cespedes has way more power, IMO
  17. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 02:05 AM) its going to be a huge struggle to score runs all year....morel, viciedo, de aza, beckham and rios are all fringe-mlb offensive players IMO AJ?
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 03:03 AM) Sox getting their asses kicked on Sunday night baseball. Hope we can take 2 of 3 in Cleveland if not small crowd for Tigers? People in Chicago don't care how good or bad the team is until a few month into the season. You care way too much about the crowds this year. Barring a miracle, it's going to be a mediocre year at the gate for the Sox.
  19. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 02:58 AM) Whoever it is I just want him gone. Im really tired of him getting shelled. Why are you surprised by this? Just like with Alexei, he's a notoriously terrible player to start the year. I don't think KW should trade Gavin unless he can get a significantly better package than what he got for Santos (blah) or Quentin (blah).
  20. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 02:55 AM) Hopefully the Red Sox didnt notice Gavin's outing. Blue Jays
