Rays vs White Sox 6:10 CST
Hudson continues to work the count very well, he just can't do anything with it. That pitch was meat, and I'm not sure how he missed it.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ May 30, 2012 -> 12:24 AM) We're down 2 playing vs the leader of the AL East, calm down fellas, this game aint over yet. We have our #5 going without his best stuff against their ace who is on his game. Plenty to be content about so far.

QUOTE (Baron @ May 30, 2012 -> 12:23 AM) If Shields kept pitching the way he was earlier sure. The way this game looks I thought 2 runs would win it. Just like last game. You can't get mad at Humber allowing 2 runs if you believe the Sox won't score at least 2 today.

QUOTE (Baron @ May 30, 2012 -> 12:18 AM) Yeah he was been off since the perfect game. He clearly doesnt have as good of stuff as he can have. Or is the question: did he just have great stuff on the magical day and that was an anomaly?

QUOTE (Jake @ May 30, 2012 -> 12:17 AM) Is Phil off today? 90 mph fastball and rolling sliders have resulted in some really good swings by Tampa

QUOTE (Baron @ May 30, 2012 -> 12:16 AM) I mean if the Front Office is serious about contending. If were in first place at the trade deadline. Then you need a starting pitcher. Gavin Floyd and Phil Humber are either on or off. If they are off you automatically lose. Still plenty of time to make this decision. It wouldn't shock me in the the least if by the deadline, Gavin is someone who the Sox can count on and Peavy is considered a liability.

Wow, just a terrible decision to throw him first pitch fastball. Just a matter of time though, Humber has nothing.

Nice recovery by AJP there

Shields destroying our hitters with that change-up. They better not be expecting a fastball on 3-2 count.

Worse team in 2012
Padres easily...I haven't heard of a handful of players on their major league roster. Carlos Quentin is far and away the best player on their team.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!
This game reminded me of the 1-0 Cardinals game in 2006 where Thome homered
-
It must be said - Hawk Harrelson has to go
Props to the broadcast today. Awesome stuff with the highlights of Cooper and Wimpy

QUOTE (K-Rock @ May 28, 2012 -> 10:31 PM) Why does Rios seem so slow getting down the line He leans back on his swing, so it's hard for him to get going

Rays vs White Sox 2:10 CST
Thing is, it looks like Rios was also safe

Let Lillibridge run for him and steal 2nd

Rays vs White Sox 2:10 CST
Let's get some insurance, as Reed's going to face some real tough lefties in the 9th.

Rays vs White Sox 2:10 CST
Wimpy with great analysis there talking about Crain. If Crain makes some of those same pitches to Upton, he's going to be in trouble.

QUOTE (Baron @ May 28, 2012 -> 10:18 PM) So basically he is screwed It does make you wonder how they expect it to be totally healed within 2 weeks. Even balta agrees he needs to go on rehab assignment and show he can hit a little before being activated.

QUOTE (chw42 @ May 28, 2012 -> 10:10 PM) Orlando Hudson's an awful hitter with a 3-1 count. Bat speed has diminished....it happens
