  1. One more Sergio....sliders, sliders, sliders!
  2. Should have left Sale in to face Santana, but Santos has a job to do anyways.
  3. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:52 PM) No he didn't. He can't hit lefties and he should be pulled from the game for defensive purposes anyway. And lefties were hitting like .120 against Sipp coming into the game.
  4. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:50 PM) We really do have three just outstanding setup men right now. Although, ESPN says we need another. Indeed, tons of confidence in those guys right now.
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:48 PM) Why not? Who did yu want to pinch hit? The pinch hitter would have made an out as well. This team as you know, cannot hit. Seriously, stop
  6. So why the hell did Teahen get to face a LHP
  7. Oh Sale! Time to trade him for Mike Stanton
  8. Dunn has a reputation for being one of the nicest guys in baseball. If the veterans in the locker room have an issue with him (like they did Swisher, Cabrera, etc), then it's time those guys leave.
  9. Kinda interesting Thornton's not being used here.
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:08 PM) GMAB man, the Cardinals have been thought have a bottom of the league system almost every year. They occasionally pull out a couple of pieces but then they're gone before they get to the big leagues, a-la the Mulder trade or the Holliday trade. Except for now they have two of the top ten prospects in baseball, so hopefully the pan out for the Cardinals.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 08:08 PM) Wow Omar blew that one. How so? Gotta say, that was pretty shady by him though.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 08:07 PM) ESPY! I really think the only reason he is playing lately is to try to sucker someone into trading for him. Disagree, it's cause they've given up hope in Morel.
  13. Credit to Teahen, as he showed good balance on that offspeed pitch!
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 08:00 PM) Well, 6 IP, 2 ER, not terribly bad. Yep, we have to feel lucky about it. Have never seen him throw so many high offspeed pitches in a game.
  15. QUOTE (Elgin Slim @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:59 PM) One thing that I noticed about Jackson this season, is that he lacks an "out pitch." all of his secondary pitches are able to be fouled off very easily by hitters. He does not have great stuff. he just throws hard. Yep, which is odd considering his great performance in our home opener.
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:58 PM) I assume you haven't watched White Sox baseball in what, 2+ months? since 2005
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:56 PM) Ohman coming in? We'll lose this game. Yeah, it would be terrible to see a guy who holds lefties to a .204 average come into the game.
  18. Huge double play to hopefully get our relievers involved next inning.
  19. Meanwhile Ozzie's sitting on his hands in the dugout.
  20. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:48 PM) Here we go, another White Sox tradition -- walking the leadoff hitter after the offense scores a few runs. He just missed on that 3-2 pitch.
