Think of this...if they get Viciedo from us, then they can trade him for Heath Bell. Since John Jay has been far superior to Rasmus this year, this trade makes them a hell of a lot better this year (which is definitely their "All In" season also).

The good news is that as long as it's not Viciedo, I really don't care which of our minor leaguers we trade.

So Humber's getting his start skipped. Doesn't sound like he's too happy about it. Too bad we don't skip our worst pitcher instead of the guy who's been our best this year.

Rasmus for Jackson/Thornton and a lot of salary relief makes a ton of sense for both teams.

That sucks is was postponed. Had a good pitching match-up in our favor and it's one less game to have team win/lose prior to deadline.

Looks like we'll miss Beckett next weekend as long as Boston doesn't have any rainouts.

I doubt Cleveland's in a rush to get this game in tonight with Huff on the mound for them.

Is that C. Jones guy on Rome any good? Seems old to be playing in A ball

They're expecting another big front to hit Cleveland soon. My uneducated prediction is an 8:45 CST first pitch.
