  1. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 1, 2011 -> 03:17 AM) I was pissed off at this team last season but now I'm just disgusted. The team re-signed guys like AJ for this s***? Can he throw anyone out? Will Pierre ever steal a base again? Ha! And poor Beckham. Man, I hope that guy has a girlfriend to go home to. Plain and simple, this team has played bad so far. We're not even getting to face a lot of closers due to losing by so much.
  2. Ginger, couldn't agree with you more about AJ's defense killing us this series. He's given the Orioles numerous runs already due to not being able to block pitches in the dirt.

I really respect that job Humber's doing. He definitely has a plus curveball. I hope we find enough starts for him the rest of the way to see if we can pencil him into the 2012 rotation.
  4. I'm done for the night..fire all these underachievers.
  5. f*** it, put Dunn or Viciedo in LF and DH the other one. Get some offense in the lineup instead of playing NL style bulls***.
  6. Yeah, I don't think Boers is accurate with what he says about AJP, as he's been saying for a few months that no one on the Sox roster wanted AJP back.
  7. Take a seat AJ! He is SO f***ING HORRIBLE! Boers and Bernstein continue to predict he won't last the whole season without getting released.
  8. Well, that was a predictable easy inning. Beckham and Morel better be on a plane to Charlotte on Thursday. At this rate, Beckham's going to be out of this organization by 2013.
  9. Holy f***, SEND HIM DOWN
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 1, 2011 -> 01:05 AM) Is there a reason the Sox are leaving all their LH hitters in to face a lefty? I could understand Dunn. Agreed, Teahen had no prayer vs Gonzalez.
  11. Why do teams pitch to Soriano when he's in one of his ridiculous hot streaks?
  12. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 1, 2011 -> 01:03 AM) Meh, maybe Teahen triples or something. Not against a LHP.
  13. That was very Lllibridge-ish. Should be an easy inning for Mike Gonzalez here.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 1, 2011 -> 12:59 AM) I'm so drunk right now I no longer care about the ineptness of this team. But good god damn there's this hot piece of Latin ass I been scopin since I been here. Almost time to make my move. Tell her your name is Carlos Gonzalez, and asks if she wants to see your CarGo.
  15. QUOTE (Marty34 @ May 1, 2011 -> 12:57 AM) Rios looked like he moved closer to the plate that AB. Law of averages has him getting hot soon anyway. His ridiculous batting stance/hand placement makes it near impossible for him to get on top of a fastball and very difficult for him not to roll over when he tries to pull the ball.
  16. Pathetic swings by AJP there, as he was trying to hit a 3 run homer on the first two pitches. SO GLAD we brought him back.
  17. Whew, lucky. Need a flare by AJP here.
  18. Haha..terrible. Earn your money Dunn, and prove to critics that you can be a winner.
  19. Surprise me Dunn and make contact off of a lefty. I'd rather see Lillibridge here I think.
  20. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 1, 2011 -> 01:45 AM) Alcohol doesn't depress me, it just makes me in to an amazing dancer. My amazing dance skills landing me no action is what is depressing. lol. Or cause you probably call yourself Hot Fire to the ladies.
  21. QUOTE (DirtySox @ May 1, 2011 -> 01:43 AM) He looks dreadful, and is even being squeezed a bit. It's unfathomable that the Sox don't have a run yet. Buck should have never let Tillman start this inning. Got to make them pay while he's still in.
  22. QUOTE (bobryansson @ May 1, 2011 -> 01:41 AM) Just turned on the game. I see Cy Young is pitching for the opposition... again. You have no idea how bad Tillman looks.
  23. Alexei looks great at the plate. HIT A f***ING 2 RUN HOMER.
  24. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 1, 2011 -> 01:39 AM) It really wasn't a spectacular play by the SS. The flip was nice, but definitely a play you get at least one out on.
  25. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 1, 2011 -> 01:37 AM) It wasn't a great swing, but it's a hit 95% of the time. It was just unlucky that Andino made a great play on it. Jam shots and ground balls up the middle happen all the time. If that ball got through, I gaurentee people would say "There ya go Alex! Finally". But no, so instead it's extreme negativity. This board is seriously the biggest downer. Can't wait to get drunk tonight and not be depressed by this s***. It's more depressing here than it is watching this team play. Gordon Beckham had a flare single to right last night. It was more depressing seeing an awful swing by him result in a hit than if he took a great cut and lined out to left.
