So I went back and looked at the play clock in the upper right-hand corner on the fake FG. It looks like the ball was snapped literally as the clock hit double zero. The ESPN/ABC clock was about .3 seconds fast.

That was a blatant delay of game.

How is it possible for a Big 10 quarterback to not know you can't go past the line of scrimmage and then try and run back behind it so you can throw a pass?
