Sergio Santos has How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days in his basket, that's 1000 times more embarrassing, Mean Girls is actually enjoyable.
oh yeah, hot L. Lohan in that movie

In that Twins game yeah, but he's been a lot better today so far.
The 2nd inning was great, but the 3rd inning and now the 4th have seen too many balls up in the zone.
Get someone up in the pen, Garcia simply doesn't have the stuff to get thru the order a 2nd time lately. Looks like Garcia was the pitcher we needed a replacement for, and not Hudson. Watching The Club, it was obvious there were members of the organization that could see this coming.

Without Miguel Cabrera dropping that pop-up, we don't score the runner from 3rd with 0 outs. Sheeezus.
or a balk
Seems like PK is seeing a ton of 2 strike offspeed pitches lately

Which might be a symptom of not having a ton of either MLB experience or experience at that position.
True, it's not like he showed a lot of range at 3rd last season.

That play wasn't totally Gordon's fault. He was screened by Alexei as he was trying to make a play for the ball. He is far from a stiff.
I agreed with balta before that stiff was a poor choice of words. It's more like he does a good job of getting into position to make plays, but he just doesn't execute well.

Didn't he make a really good catch last night covering a lot of ground moving towards the RF line?
That's considered a tough play? Not being an ass, but that's a play any 2nd baseman in baseball makes.
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 15, 2010 -> 07:55 PM)
A stiff? It was a bonehead play, but that's not a word I'd use to describe him.
A Stiff is Teahen at 3b or Quentin in RF.
The next time Beckham makes a tough play will be a first. I agree though, maybe stiff was a bad choice of words.
2nd time thru the order, and Tigers are taking much better swings against Garcia. Of course, with this horse s*** lineup the Sox have, it probably doesn't even matter.
Good job Garcia!! His offspeed stuff wasn't sharp, but his fastball actually hit 91 mph.
BTW, was just told that Grimes is still 50/50 to sign by tomorrow night.
I also don't like sitting Omar with Garcia on the mound, as it's likely there's a ton of hard hit balls to the left side against Garcia's 63 mph fastball.
